Just a quick up-date on my case:

My ELIS account changed to Optimized on March 4 and the USCIS recieved my case on Feb 4. I applied for my SSN last Monday March 3 and only one day later my case changed. Hmmm, I really think they are only waiting till the Immigrant gets active.

Could be coincidence though I know others here don't think so. We got our SSNs automatically and changed to optimized about a month after entry, which is consistent with your timeframe.

Keep checking your case status on the USCIS website. I believe your tracking number shows up there. But it shouldn't take anymore than a week to get your card. After you get it, open the envelope carefully as you can use that envelope to send the card back if there are errors. Check to make sure they have your name, dob, designation (IR1 or CR1) and expiration date correct.

To SusieQQQ

is there any progress in your GC? mine still nothing. I'm really starting worry.

Nothing. If it's not passed over to usps by close of business today I'm going to contact them on Monday. Although I have a suspicion I'll get fobbed off and told to contact them again after the 30 days from card production has passed.

Btw, when you look at ELIS, what is the date of your last status update? Mine is 27 Feb, though the card went into production on 24 Feb (which had previously obviously been the date of status update)... So something happened on 27 Feb, but no clue what ...

yea im planning to call them also but that's just what im thinking that they'll tell me to wait for more days. I'm really bothered cause someone post here that he got his ELIS turned closed today and it just went to production this week.

My last status date changed last Feb 25 on ELIS and it went to production Feb21. Something's not right.

They are not consistent with times. I saw (here) people enter after us and get to optimized / card production way before we did. The other three cards in our case also went to produced in a few days, and they went to production a day before mine. Please let me know what they say if you call them, I am not in the US at the moment so will probably have to email them.
