Mine is in-transit now. Hope to get it today.

What I'm worried about is I might get the 10yr GC instead of the 2yr conditional. Lots of F2A filers having that issue. unsure.png

Hi Apple!! I'm worried about the same thing. My 2nd wedding anniversary is on March 10th this year, so I'm almost sure I will receive a conditional permanent resident as well...

Can someone please explain the issue between the 2 year and 10 year green card? It was my understanding that it should be for 10 years, but I don't want to assume that everything I've been told so far to be the truth. Thanks.

Hi rjd2013!! If by the time you arrive in the US you don't have 2 years of marriage yet, they will give you a Conditional Permanent Residence that will expire in 2 years (not in 10 years as normally), but they give you the chance to remove the conditions 90 days before it expires, although you will have to fill a new form and pay like $600... If you have more than 2 years of marriage when you arrive in the US for the first time, they will give you a 10 years Permanent Residence Card.

peruvian83, thanks for the information. My wife and I have been married for the past six years, so it seems as if she is fine with the 10 year card. Hopefully before it expires she will no longer need the card though!!!

Just wanted to say that this font is pretty difficult to read on a tablet/phone.

I come here almost exclusively on the computer. If you see that I have edited posts, it's because I'm on the cellphone.

You miss out on about 90% of the site functions when you don't visit on a computer unless you're using a tablet in "full version" mode.

I come here to visit the forum, and I do usually use my tablet in full version mode but even so that font is difficult to read. I spend my days at work behind a computer, I don't want to use my work PC for accessing this site, and I don't want to spend the rest of my evening stuck behind a computer.... But whatever, I just made the comment because if Peruvian also mainly uses a computer they may just be unaware that others will find the posts difficult to read. It's perfectly possible that someone else who may have useful information for them does like me and just skips over them as a result.

I agree with the font, I'm not a fan of when people change the font or the colour unless needed. I also dislike when people cannot use full punctuation and proper sentences or complete words besides for well known acronyms. (I once belonged to a forum that didn't allow any acronyms at all beyond LOL.) I just don't want you to miss out on any functions on the site! :)

Got it :)

I also can't stand it when people use texting abbreviations... Another forum I am a regular of does allow acronyms but not things like "I wnt 2 go 2 da nxt 1".
