Hey guys!! It seems Texas Service is taking more time to process the Green Card application, but at least they are working, my case just changed into "OPTIMIZED" today. I'm sure that it will turn out the same for the ones whose cases are in Texas...

07.06.2012 NOA1 (USCIS-CSC)

07.09.2013 NOA2 (USCIS website)

07.16.2013 NOA2 (hard copy received)

07.29.2013 Case arrived NVC

08.05.2013 Case # and Invoice ID # received. DS-3032 sent via e-mail

08.07.2013 Received AOS fee invoice via e-mail. Paid AOS fee $88

08.08.2013 AOS fee status "PAID"

08.20.2013 DS-3032 accepted / AOS entered into the system for review

Did your status just change in the past couple of hours? Mine is still ACCEPTED. I guess just have to keep on waiting ;(

I think your ELIS status will probably change to 'Optimized' by the end of Feb. It seems to be around 60 days from either POE or fee paid, whichever occurs last.

At least you got your SSN automatically. I will have to go to a SSA office next week to apply for one. Hopefully it won't be too much of an ordeal.

Timeline after visa approval

Immigrant fee paid on ELIS - Jan 24th

POE - Jan 25th

Update on GC and SSN

(as of March 14th, 2014)

ELIS status - Closed (Card produced)

USCIS case check with receipt number (starts with IOE) - Card delivered in the mail

SSN - Received (Went to SSA location to apply for one)

N-400 package mailed in - Nov 7th

No I didn't call them it's was just automatically but ya went to ss office after my 15 day and they say you will get it in a week and I got in 3 days.

Did you follow up with them at any point in the process, or just wait?

Also, did you get your SSN automatically or did you need to go into a SS office?

Update on the USCIS case status ..... Yayyyyy dancin5hr.gif On Valentine's Day ... Awesome!

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on February 14, 2014.

GC & SSN
07-05-2013: Immigrant fee - $165 - paid
12-15-2013: POE Detroit
02-04-2014: ELIS - CASE STATUS: OPTIMIZED (Case received: 01-02-2014. STATUS DETAILS: In Process)
02-11-2014: USCIS - "Your new card is being produced etc...."
02-14-2014: USCIS - Card has been picked up by USPS - ELIS is down
02-15-2014: GC delivered!
Removal of Condition
11-16-2015: I-751 Petition sent to the California Center
11-19-2015: Petition received (UPS)
11-19-2015: NOA USCIS
11-23-2015: Check of $590 (Petion Fees) cashed
