hi!

I am wondering if I am in normal timeline, I entered the US on August 5th, although, file was received on August 1 (e-file). Paid the ELIS fee on August 10th, on the same day, I got an automated email about an update on my file, changed to OPTIMIZED. I should add, case status on August 17th: In process.

Thank you.

Hello all!

I am looking for some clarification on the ELIS process as I feel like i have have fallen through a crack somewhere....

Paid ELIS fee - July 10

POE - July 15 SFO

Since then I have received no case status updates and I have not received a receipt from USCIS with a IOE receipt number. Is this normal? I cannot check the wesbite as it says my access has been removed. I did receive a receipt for paying the ELIS fee from admingov. What is the normal process after paying the fee and entering at POE? I will try to call USCIS, but I was wondering if my situation is normal or not.

Thanks!

I was going through my mothers immigration documents and noticed a weird thing!!!

The Alien number that was created by USCIS at the initial stage does not match with the Alien number on the IR5 Visa.

Is this normal?

Can this delay the process of Green card production?

It has been almost three months since my mother came to USA and still no green card in hand :crying:

On USCIS website it says "If you paid the USCIS Immigrant Fee before August 31, 2015, you will no longer have access to your online account.", does anyone know who else to check the status? I paid mine before August 31...

What is CRIS?

take the IOE receipt #,

put it into CRIS,

and track it there.

if you set up a portfolio account in CRIS, CRIS system will give you almost-real-time electronic notifications when things change.

My husband POE'd on July 27th and we have yet to receive his card. We didn't get his SSN either and had to apply again at the SSN office (very unpleasant experience).

We did just add his name to our household at the post office and the man there said the carriers are instructed not to put any mail in the box if the name doesn't match. I'm hoping his green card etc weren't just sent back. I'd like to check up on that, but I'm not sure where to call regarding the green card - USCIS?

Anybody from July or earlier, waiting for their card?
