Just a question,

I arrived at the POE in JFK to trigger my green card (I'm in the DV category)

Payed ELIS Fee: 1st May

Arrived at POE: June 27th

Received SSN: 6th July

and then on the 21st July on the USCIS tracker my card has gone into production and it has not moved since. I'm a bit concerned since others in this thread had their GC mailed after a few days in production.

Any advice?

Production to shipping can take 2-3 weeks, I'd chill for a while. We all stress so much over this, unnecessarily so, imho. It'll come. I'd give it until the end of the month.

Hey guys, it's been a while! I got my green card back in April and thought that was that (at least until ROC, I guess) but I just got a status update from USCIS saying "On August 6, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number IOEXXXXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us." Needless to say I haven't ordered or shouldn't be getting a new card. I know the USCIS update system glitches a lot but haven't heard of that for card mailing updates. I'm going to keep an eye on it and see what happens, but has anyone had this happen to them?

EDIT: Just checked the ELIS site as well and that doesn't show any updates, so a glitch most likely.

Same this happened to me this morning. Got an email saying your new card was mailed today. I already got my card in January 2015. ELIS site has no updates but USCIS site did. It said card was mailed. I called the USCIS and spoke to a customer service person who said this has been happening. She then escalated the call to an immigration official. The gentleman I spoke with said when I receive the new card - I am to keep it. I will later receive a notice to return one, most likely the second card. There is a system problem and it may have produced an error on the second card.

Spoogie

Yeah I know I have to be patient, it's just that the waiting can be quite maddening at times (especially with the variations in the wait time from production to shipping)

If you wait for the bill, it means they have your file and often you can get the hard copy faster.

Hi NLR, I went ahead and paid it. But, on my ELIS profile, there isn't an address, I mean; the fields are empty, should I input my address there? Or, they will be able to pick it up from my MTL file?

Cool, thanks NLR!...

I tried to login just now on the ELIS site, and it says, I've tried too many attempts to log in, and my account it has been locked? Obviously, I was just logging in for the first time today... Thank you!
