How long were you married?

How much time between your divorce and citizenship, divorce and getting married or divorce and having a baby?

Ok here is my story

Got married in 2006. Got separated in feb 2010 & filed divorce in mar 2010. Started dating in may 2010. Ggot divorce in mar 2011. Baby born in apr 2011. Got citizenship in mar 2012. Got married in sep 2012.

You separated in Feb 2010, and filed for divorce in Mar 2010? That was fast.

You started dating in May 2010 and had baby 11 months later? Wow, that was very fast.

But you waited until after citizenship to get married? That was slow.

To be blunt, I am not surprised the immigration officer is suspicious.

I think you need a lawyer, not this forum.

What I don't understand is why the officer thought you had already had child, and then married the US citizen, the timing seems odd.

If this was me I'd schedule & pay for DNA as CO ordered

then

Buy my own kit when I get back o USA to do a quick check on my own with my son

Get an attorney..........Its too many coincidents where dates & relationships R

bumping off & around the immigrating part of things....seemif u show on going

relationship it will confirm the CO suspicions....honestly this does not look or sound

well in your favor

Thanks for ur help

I will not do DNA because they asked me that I may do DNA to prove.

If co want to verify its ok call my wife for 2 nd interview or do field investigation . I don't mind it because my case is genuine.

I never lied to us immigration.

At the time if citizenship I mentioned that I have girlfriend & 1 son to me in India.

As per law I could not get married to her before 5 yrs of PR.

Anyways thanks for ur hepl

If they request you do DNA dude you have to...no 2 ways around that

with all the red-flags

I know that bro but in the letter it says you may wish to have DNA conducted to verify relationship.

They r not forcing me to have DNA test.

I think they might do field investigation or something but I have lots of proff for ur relationship

Some suggestions are really polite orders.

Chances of a visa without DNA are close to nil.

It depends somewhat on the embassy- use Advance Search on here to find other people's experiences.

sorry your not getting answers to ur questions.. im not an expert BUT from the stories ive seen, the DNA testing can take 30-60 days. once paternity is proven there is no reason for the visa not to be approved if that was the only issue.

I dont know ANYTHING about administrative processing or if that will prolong the situation.

i am filing for my 2 stepsons and because Jamaica is a high fraud country i know they require DNA testing alot there so we are hoping not to do it but prepared for it if so.. we are waiting or our interview now

BE BLESSED!!
