better invite a few over for a bbq this weekend and a couple rwns too. you might need them liking you in a couple weeks.

hell yes. come up here to balcony with me.

Then all the mob needs is a match to pass the sentence on the group.

Brilliant idea taking the highier ground, but bad idea making it a building with a balcony.

Try a hill next time General Custer.

You know whats funny about you. You are one of the head if not the worst instigators and flamers on this forum. You constantly come in behind people giving their opinions and demean or ridicule what they say, make broad dishonest generalizations, then when you get challenged, you get defesive and talk about how people act and how people put words in your mouth and how you try to stay above the fray. " I am paraphrasing here not quoting you exactly" It's always the same with you. You slap then look around, with a "who me". ?

Look back through these threads and see home many in which you have started an argument, or continued one for several pages. Yes I know I do to, but your little passive aggressive act of throwing flames, then getting mad because there is a fire in here is worn and old.

I'm the one who is mad? Sure doesn't seem like it...

Responding to comments is not starting arguments. It's a discussion forum.

You're in the wrong place if you want people to only agree with you.

If you say something that I think is ridiculous, I will tell you I think it's ridiculous.

You exhibit everything you complain about.

Apparently it's just worse when it's someone else doing it.

Are u even suggesting the force of each punch should be measure and retaliation should be a punch with same force and no more?

Only attacker has choice which instrument they want to use?

Hitting with a human fist and using a lead projectile that's 99% lethal is just a tad different than a punch. Just saying... ;)

It's up to you to apply this logic to your circumstance.

You may find yourself in some sort or trial setting, yet without GZ, substantial defensive team and most likely just one overworked public defender...oh and scratch the paid expert testimony...but good luck with your legal understanding of self defense.

;)

Far from mad, and as I said , i do it also. The difference is I don't act incredulous when some one else does it and that was the point of my reply. It's a political forum, so I expect it . The difference is I don't jump in the arena slap someone and then complain when the fray starts. That is your trademark.

You complain non stop about people mis- characterizing what you say, yet you do it constantly.

All I am saying is like me, you are one of the lead snarky comment wild accusation posters here. stop trying to pretend otherwise.

I can tolerate simple misunderstandings. Things get misread and misunderstood and that's no big deal.

But when people come up with blatant lies like "you want him to sit in jail even if he's innocent.."

There's nothing I've ever said that could possibly be taken that way.

You are obviously biased as I am I. However in the trial phase I am trying to stay un biased as is possible. Of course I am going to lean toward Zimmerman when I hear testimony , but the fact is the prosecution got their buts handed to them with the 2 surprise witnesses, they thought were going to do him in.

CNN legal team agrees.

Alternate scenario is Martin on top of Zimmermann, Zimmermann holding Martin down by his shirt with his firearm pointed at the kid telling him that "you're gonna die tonight, motherfcuker". That would make a kid squeal in the manner in which the available audio displays and make the person on the working end of that firearm trying wildly to get away. That would easily look like the "pounding" that one witness described that failed to leave any of the wounds that would be expected on the pounded. It would also explain how Zimmermann had no defensive wounds. And finally it would explain how the gun was fired while touching the fabric of the victim's shirt while being several inches away from the victim's body. Dragging on a shirt to hold the kid down and preventing that "arsehole from getting away" would do that trick, wouldn't it?

Now before everyone starts falling all over themselves, let me state this for the record: I am not suggesting that this is what happened. All I am saying here is that there are many scenarios conceivable that would produce the testimony and the physical evidence that is on the table yet leave Zimmermann guilty of murder in the second degree. And there are certainly scenarios conceivable that would have him acquitted of murder 2 and yet convicted of manslaughter.

I'm glad someone else here is at least demonstrating different possible scenarios, since every one of them is pure speculation, even the ones that follow Zimmerman's version.

Anyone who has watched MMA or studied martial arts, knows about the Gracie's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu moves, called ground fighting, where the person on the bottom has the advantage. While I would not suggest that GZ could master such moves, knowing that he had an ace up his sleeve - his 9mm, and being trained in MMA which includes learning to fight from the ground, he would not have panicked. So your scenario actually seems quite plausible and might help explain why so many eye-witnesses have conflicting recollections of who was on top.
