I will be lurking some and participating less. Got stuff to do. However the topic is Day eight feed, but we keep beating the same old tired stuff not discussing the trial

Please stay on topic or I am going to ask for Mod intervention. There are 10 other threads to discuss Dee and the other speculation about dead subjects.

Let me catch you up to date.

A Mr. Carter who taught a course Zimmerman participated in testified. He testified that they did talk about Self Defense, but the course did not talk about stand your ground.as the prosecution had asserted. The defense then got the witness and turned him into a an expert on self defense and stand your ground. The defense scored major points with this witness as he testified that, in accordance with what had been presented, GZ was acting within the law.

The talking heads at CNN were shocked that the prosecution had brought in this special last minute witness and once again the defense had turned him to a boost for their case and totally blown the prosecution out of the water.

I will also add he was a very articulate professional black man,and was a great witness and I bet no one makes any rude comments about him. So maybe the comments about Dee were about her stupidity and obvious lying and not race.

They then brought a 2nd professor. He tried to testify by Skype but they showed the skype address on TV on they started getting many many calls and had to stop. He testified that part of the course in the book was how to be a witness. Upon cross by telephone only, he was asked was this book material covered in class. After consulting his his records he admitted it was never talked about .

So the 2 college professors. One was a big boost to the defense and the other was made the prosecution look foolish as they screen filled with incoming calls and he testified that the information the prosecution discussed was never talked about in class. They looked like keystone cops with the skype.

I said yesterday that I thought the prosecution scored points yesterday and that I was no longer 100% on guilty. Your just making shat up again. You do that a lot lately.

I based my comments off what i saw and the legal experts at CNN's commentaries. I guess the legal panel at HLN is biased also huh ?

HLN are the ones that were shocked that the defense took this special witness for the prosecution, that was supposed to condemn GZ and turned him into a win for the defense.

Are you saying one should not self defend at all, coz there are chances attacker might die in self defense.

Defend with the same instrument used on you? Of course.

But you can't get punched and then use a 50 caliber to the head because you are scared.

So every moment of fear is met with a lethal more excessive form of retaliation?

Just do away with the law and have a free for all.

Penny is never going to let what is going to let facts or what is actually said interrupt a good pouting tantrum . Odd thing is she is the worlds worse at saying things that are not true and bending what people say, but is the most vocal to complain about it happening to here all the time

But then the weakest of society, the defenseless, would just have to take their beatings, and hope for the best when the beating is over. If you manage to survive, then you can press charges. That's just the price you pay for being weaker than others.

We really need to keep the self defense laws and just trust in our jury system.
