Hello,

just wanted to give an update here.

I did not do anything as asked by the NVC last time. They rechecked our stuff last week and although we have the 2012 salary and the 2011 tax (incl. the extension letter from my husband) they approved it.

I am glad I did not listen to some of the advise here because we "screwed it up". If I had sent any forms to the NVC again to try to get all the paperwork straight it just would have postponed everything further.

@NLR: my husband can hardly call me. He does not have internet or if then only really slow, no printers, no scanners, no post office. It is not possible for him to make his taxes.

Such is life in the land of deployment. Sometimes they have super nice places to stay, other times they're in a tent in the middle of nowhere and the guy with the sat phone is their best friend.

Glad to know everything worked out for you. Hopefully it goes as well at the interview since the NVC only makes sure you have all the documents, they don't actually okay or ixnay them.

(edit for spelling... damn fingers work too fast)
