hello VJ family. I'm new here. I want to share my interview with my wife at Manila Embassy. Our visa category is F4. Our schedule of interview last May 21, 2013 the interview went good, easy, and short lasted about 2 mins. only. The consul is good, young lady. She did not told us that we are approved nor denied. She said wait for our number to be call, after a minute our number flashed on the screen thb that's the last window, their is a filipino guy who handed us a white form 221 g with a checked box "WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US". We don't have any idea what is that we thought that is a normal. But the guy told us. Sir, your application is okay but we need to review your case. Then he told us to dropped out the 2go form. Our passport is retained and documents. Are we approved or denied? Anyone here in the same boat?

AP happens, sometimes it takes a couple weeks, sometimes a month, rarely longer than that.

The fact that they kept the passport is a good thing.

(pop down to the Philippine forum say "Hi"... )

Just be patient, I will post links for tracking your visa.

TRACK YOUR VISA/PASSPORT AT THE EMBASSY

State Dept. visa tracking: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? (not updated or as accurate as the USEM website)

Here is a link for requirements for receiving your passport with the visa, there are also options for tracking the status of your visa/passport is currently. You can also change delivery options.

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-passportretrieve.asp#trackingoptions

If your application was temporarily refused under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, you can now check the status of your application online.

http://manila.usembassy.gov/adminprocessing2.html

2GO CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR CHECKING DELIVERY

2Go customer service hotline (+632) 5287-136 is available Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

TRACK YOUR PASSPORT/VISA THROUGH 2GO

http://supplychain.2go.com.ph/CustomerSupport/etrace/index.asp Enter your MNL number or passport number or UID number off the embassy confirmation letter (online confirmation page by bar code).

OMG ! You really can't get me. Let me rephrase my question. What is your religion? What is your wife's religion ?

USEM does not care what religion a person is... get over it.

Did USEM ask you to show proof that your petitioner is still alive and well? Did you submit your petitioner's 2012 ITR and W2?

Longest AP for Philippines I've encountered is 90 days.
