So, after getting the email about assigning a new 'A' number for my dad and putting back the petition-on USCIS website to initial review- I did not here a word from USCIS. I called them on the 20th of May, got nothing. Now today i got a letter from USCIS saying that my EOIR29 appeal was sent to the BIA. I don't know when it has been sent, the notice date is June 19. I cannot for the life a me understand why this case is so complicated. this $#IT IS DRIVING ME CCCCCCCCRAZY. God knows how long this will take. USCIS kept the appeal for six months before they forward it to the BIA. I should have just filed a new application. Does anyone have any suggestions? I see a lot of EOIR cases about spouse but none about parent.shocked.gif

Sis it is what it is...here's what U do, have mom or U go with dad to Kingston Mall (Ocean Blvd)BC office

add his name to your birth C. ...late registration (they have an expedite process) because you

are over 18 when Kingston embassy get your dads pkge they MAY or may not request a DNA

(they tend to in Jamaica if fathers name added after age 14)also encourage your other siblings to

add his name to theirs too, I think this will go quicker than BIA route...and remember very soon

U cannot file for siblings so if U intend to file for them do it now.................Best wishes

Thanks for your advice, but my EOIR29 package is already at the BIA. USCIS sent it there after i called then sometime in June, they tol me to waite 90 days. The reason for denial is -they say- the step relationship is not valid. However, he's my biological father.
