We POEed approximately 33 hours after we walked out of the interview...so it was ready to pick up at the Dorval office by early afternoon the next day (pro tip: when it says they have it at the office, even if it's not "ready" go ahead and give them a call because it might actually be!).

We POEed approximately 33 hours after we walked out of the interview...so it was ready to pick up at the Dorval office by early afternoon the next day (pro tip: when it says they have it at the office, even if it's not "ready" go ahead and give them a call because it might actually be!).

If I remember correctly the "not ready" part is because they don't actually have YOUR address but are holding it for pickup. I don't think it ever says ready. This is good information to share with everyone so they know not to wait necessarily. I know I only got a notice saying it wasn't ready for pickup but that was at 11:00 at night. The next morning, a few hours later, it was ready and waiting for pickup.

I think it's great that you were able to get it so quickly! What a great feeling!!

Where will I get the Waybill number? I have my Courier Reference ID number for Loomis. Is this the same thing? Or will I get something at the Consulate in Montreal.

HI, hoping you guys can help me out. Can I pick up my visa in Montreal at their office or at a loomis building locally? I will be waiting out the rest of this process with my fiance in the usa and I don't want to have it send to my home town and have to drive 9 hours to get it and find a place to stay.

Yeah, we just hung out in Montreal at a friend's house and picked it up from the Dorval location, rather than having it sent back to Toronto.
