Yes, DC is very very backed up it looks like:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/422777-any-washington-dc-field-office-i-130-transfers/

I only found (1) approval from an early november NOA1.

However, my timeline searching seems to be buggy for some reason so there might be more.

I did not have any rfes but my case was transferred to a local office. During the transfer from the service center to the local office they made a mistake and somehow my case ended up in storage. This process has been extremely long for me. I am now at the Nvc stage and it's been 2 months since our approval and nvc still hasn't received it. If there's any advice I can give you is be proactive. Don't wait around until 7 months have passed to begin calling uscis.

Im sorry that this happened to you. I really hope your process is finished soon. I also agree about being proactive. I filed my petition early may and have called a few times already. Not to get on their nerves but to attempt to follow my petition the best way i can. My case was tranferred to NBC so there's no timeline available. Sucks but if you want something done right, you must stay on them. No one will care if you do not show you care about the situation. This is just what I think.

I was also married in February, and also applied at the end of February for my I-130 and still haven't received an approval. I'm at the NBC in Missouri. We wait I guess.

thanks all of you guys.....but one thing that i didnt understood ...you mean it ll take 7 months more expecting two previous months which has already gone? our case was accepted by 3rd may 2013...and pleas tell em what would be the the next step after approval ?

After approval, you will get email or mail in 30 days. Mostly Email they will send you, that your petitioner will have to choose choice of agent, that if uscis want to send documents they should contact who, lawyer , himself, or you behalf of your husband. Than once you send it over to them, they will email you to pay other fees. which wil be two fees. after that they will ask your hubby to fill the APPLICATION FOR IMMIGRATION VISA AND ALIEN REGISTRATION. and last thing they will schedeule for interview.

you can get al paper work ready from now instead of waiting for them.

This process takes 2 months after approval. good luck to us

Someone has kindly created a general email (google doc) for all of us to copy and paste and send it to everyone on the email list (on pg 3 of google doc). The plan is that everyone will email/fax them THIS TUESDAY (11/19) in hopes to raise awareness of the issue of the long dreadful processing time. Please help take part in this issue and pass it along.
I truly believe if we all took part in this, we can make change!
