Hi guys I know it might be a really simple question but I'm really confused. I got a letter saying I need to provide information about my income, and I am wondering how much should it be. Right now I make 41.000 year alone is that enough to sponsor my wife? That number is from my 2012 tax.

Thanks,

Raf

My wife arrived with a tourist visa B1 or B2 I believe. We applied before her visa expired, she had filed for an extension but we withdrew that in favor of me applying for her as a spouse.

A photo of the letter can be seen on the links below.

I'll suggest -

that if you included all of the 2012 tax documents and proof of current annual income of 2013

then

you have submitted the prior version of the I-864

and the I-864 submitted was evaluated past 23 June 2013,

the date that the new I-864 version was enacted for usage.

So, what to do, how to fix, you ask?

submit another I-864 set, using the NEW form.

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !
