Could someone add me as approved??
I got a text and e mail on Fri night almost at 1 am actually letting me know that a new card was in production!!
I swear god my heart almost stopped when I saw there was a new update on my case! ha ha
I ll let u guys know when I get a notification by mail, but it said my conditions were removed on Oct 25th

Has anyone who sent their package to the Vermont office heard anything back? since I did my biometrics I've been checking for an update and there's nothing. Trying my best to not think about it, but its kinda hard.

I don t think anybody who sent their papers to Vermont and their case wasn t transferred to CA has been approved yet...

A friend of mine that sent her papers there, it took her 6 months to get her card, but I mean as u can see every case is different, there are people who sent their papers after me and they got approved before me...

I say wait a couple more months and if u don t hear anything give them a call, that s what my friend did and a couple months later she got her card.

I believe that it is worth wondering if everybody that is getting approved, it is actually reporting the approval in VJ. If that were the case, the sample could have some bias.

Anyways, if we only focus on the reported approvals for the June and July filers (a total of number of 47 cases in total), the window from submission to approval is:

- average number of days is 99 for both June & July, 106 for June filers, and 81 for July filers

- median number of days is 100 for both June & July, 106 for June filers, and 72 for July filers

- the case with the highest number of days is 138 for both June & July, 138 for June filers, and 109 for July filers

- the case with the lowest number of days is 64 for both June & July, 75 for June filers, and 64 for July filers

Obviously, July data is still at an early stage, but it seems that approvals are moving faster than July on a more consistent basis.

In conclusion, it seems that the average waiting time is hovering around 100 days from submission to approval for the reported approvals. If the cases still pending from June are still waiting for approval instead of being approvals which have not been reported as yet, the waiting time could be anyone guess.

Hope that the analysis above is informative. Any comment to the thoughts above?

Looking at the prior month's messages, the approval letters (and presumably the approval decisions as well) are coming from regional offices (the VA office for a WV applicant, the Atlanta office, etc.) rather from CSC. Unfortunately, the online system doesn't tell you whether your case has been sent to a regional office or not, so it's hard to track regional offices and their speed or lack thereof. In theory, it should be possible to assemble the territories of each regional office and infer their processing speed - if VJers start reporting the identity of their regional office along with their approval dates.

Looking at the following month (August), they are at 4.35% approvals for CSC (including VSC transfers) and 9.09% approvals for VSC. A 8/9/13 CSC filer got approved on 9/25 (while a 6/3 applicant is STILL waiting!). http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/440263-i-751-august-2013-filers/page-30

Going back to the May filers, they are at 95% for CSC and 61% for VSC (multiple applicants from 4/30 and 5/1 are STILL waiting!). Going back to the April filers, they are at 73% for CSC and 69% for VSC (people from 3/29 and 4/1 are STILL waiting!)
