Does anyone have any other alternatives to using acco fasteners for binding enormous packages together?

I've thought about using those big bulky binder clips (per USCIS website) and using tabs to indicate the sections. Just curious as to how other couples have assembled their papers :)

Has anyone received a Notice for RFE, or an interview, after a case was transferred from VSC to CSC?

Hey everyone!!
I think I m gonna be so anxious these days cause I just got a text and e mail alert to let me know there was an update on my case, I checked online with my receipt number and it says something like the application IS BEING PROCESSED at a uscis office ( I got the transfer letter from VSC to CSC about a week ago...

Does this mean they are reviewing my papers?? I checked the other day and it only said that my case has been transferred but that word " being processed" is new, I m soooo nervoussss but feeling positive at the same time!! :):)

Did anybody else get the same kind of alert???

Needless to say that if I get approved soon ( let s keep fingers crossed!) or if they tell me they need extra info ( yuck, hope not!) I ll let u guys know.

Have a great weekend everybody!!!

Got my approval letter in the mail on 9/24. The letter came from our local USCIS office. It states my permanent GC and the 797D will arrive in a mailer in next 60 days. After that I checked my USCIS website case status online and that isnt still updated and says Initial review. So I would suggest wait and you may hear back form your local USCIS office.

Did the approval came from your local office or just some random office they sent it to?

Thank you

Got a letter saying my green card has been approved! The date of decision was 9/24.

My biometrics came late, however, the whole thing only took 2 months!! Amazing!! Wish you all best of luck!

Wow it s so cool to hear a few people are already getting approved!! I m so happy for all of you and I hope I can celebrate sometime soon!!

In my case, it still stays initial review but like I said the update was the part where it said my application was being processed ( that s the update I got last night), I checked earlier this week and it didn t say that, it said they had transferred my case but nothing about my papers being processed, so I suppose they will either make a decision very soon or ask me for more evidence.

I ll keep u guys posted and I truly can t wait til I get that approval letter ;)

And again congrats to all the people getting approved!!

Hi everyone!?

I sent my ROC last 20th of July, got NOA a week after that, had my biometrics in August, and in September 19th got a letter saying APPROVED and card production. GC will be sent within 60 days..

So blessed that I got approved that quick, wasn't expecting it..

Well, I guess next journey will be citizenship..

Goodluck to all!?

You will get a different number, when they request a biometrics appointment. That is the number that will start tracking your case online, after biometrics are done.
