You will get a different number, when they request a biometrics appointment. That is the number that will start tracking your case online, after biometrics are done.

We did our biometrics a long time ago, as shown in this thread's CSC/VSC tracking table, as well as in our VJ signature file (see below). We did early biometrics - it was completed well before the date of our appointment.

Hi everyone!?

I sent my ROC last 20th of July, got NOA a week after that, had my biometrics in August, and in September 19th got a letter saying APPROVED and card production. GC will be sent within 60 days..

So blessed that I got approved that quick, wasn't expecting it..

Well, I guess next journey will be citizenship..

Hi, We got a letter dated 9/17/13 that our case was transferred from VSC to CSC. It looks like that happened to a lot of people. Maybe they are just trying to lower the case load at VSC because it was taking way too long. Here is a little info I found on transferring applications:

They continue using the confusing language. My letter says that the case type is "CRI89 Approved removal of conditions" and this only means that the transfer to CSC was approved, not the application.

So I'm updating our info.

I just check the website and here's the latest update:
On September 27, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Here is the announcement that USCIS transfers are routine and were done to balance workload between VSC and CSC. Those of us who have been transferred will hopefully see a decision sooner than if we had been kept at VSC.

It says to read any letters, especially RFEs carefully so you send info to the correct service center.

I received an email stating that my case is transferred to USCIS office. This is the second time it has been transferred.

Is this something that I need to be concerned about?

Wow, CSC has been working pretty quickly! I checked our status online yesterday and also got message that a card has been requested on Oct 2nd to be mailed. That is just a few days over 2 months from when we submitted the petition. Now just need to wait for card to arrive! Good luck everyone

I received a email today saying our case was transfered to another office. I assume it`s CSC, i`ll find out when i get the letter.

Our status was just updated today to "On October 4, 2013, we transferred your CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, to your local USCIS Office for further processing."

What does that mean?

I`ve just received a second email stating the same thing! I guess it`s our local office , not CSC.
