CSC currently working on applications with NOA of Jan. 16th '13

Just got off the phone with tier 1 customer service on the national customer service line - My NOA was Feb. 1, and its currently July 2, just 1 day past the 5 month processing estimate. I called to inquire regarding what the delay was and the CSR typed something on the computer (i think) and said that CSC is still working on Applications from Jan. 16th. But I see a bunch of ppl with Feb/March NOA1's being approved on Igor's timeline list.

I asked the csr if that means I am about 2 weeks worth of applications ahead of me from getting my NOA2, and he kind of mumbled like sort-of.

tier 2 is an immigration officer.. tier 1 is an idiot

I am not an attorney nor do I make any claims to be one .. I have been reading threads in vj for well over a year now .. most of my comments come from reading other's experiences coupled with my own

I started with a 129 and then changed to a 130 after I found out my marriage was legal ... go figure

it is not about what is better, it is about your status.. are you married? it is a cr1

there is a link in the guides section where you can compare the two

cr1 does have advantages in reduced costs and immediate residency status.. there is also the affidavit of support which for a cr1 is a contract and a k1 is more like a "here are my finances and I am willing to support xxxx" then it is up to the co to review your documents

Ha ha ha ha.... Perfect definition!!

tell me.. .I have had it out with them too many times!

that is why I always write their name and ID number so when they get stupid .. they get reported

CSC has definitely slowed down in processing of K-1 applications. But they are in March boxes for the most part, not January.

Did you called the CSC? Did they said that they are processing the march filers already?

No, I've just been watching the daily approvals here.
