how many I130's transferred to Memphis got approved this month

reading the threads, I see many members who do not know how the transfers work.. it is quite possible that approvals will come out of that office without any transfer knowledge by the petitioner

Just to let you know the volume Memphis is actually doing versus amount of petitions they are behind.. Using these numbers it appears they are about 10 months behind.. It isn't good for me either because I'm a April filer and USCIS keeps telling me that my file is at NBC and will not be transfered to Memphis.. I hope they are telling me the truth but I keep watching Memphis because who knows what is truth or lies..

Finished for now!!

Also if you look at this.. Knowing they are 10 months behind and hours of operation is only 7:30am - 2:00pm Monday thru Thursday.. You understand why they are soooo slowwww.. I hope they actually operate longer than this but who knows.. I had a info pass with them and I was not impressed but I don't know how other local offices are like so I can not do much comparison..

I am not sure how to interpret those charts! That yellow line (pending petitions) is a bit scary. How can you tell that they are 10 months behind?

Yes I just did an info pass with Memphis, with my lawyer, and they are supposed to review our file and tell us more info last week. Yesterday they didn't tell us anything.

What I do is look at the raw data... Example for Nov they are 1462 petitions pending and they processed 140.. I divide 140 into 1462 and it would take 10.4 months.. Then it is just averaging month to month.. They appear consistently 10 months behind

Thanks for the help with that! I am at 8 months already so I guess I can expect to wait two more. By the way, we are neighbors, I'm over in Jonesboro.

I'm over in Paragould so not to far.. Was working on the hospital there then decided to travel with work to get my mind off immigration as much and of course the extra money is always nice.. Haha.. I did write our congressman couple days ago about Memphis being so slow ect but waiting on a non generic response which may or may not get.. To help keep my wifey busy then I uploaded all our photos on Walmart and letting her pick out photos of us, finding photo albums, so we have it ready for her interview whenever it may be.. I do not know if we actually need it but at least it is something we can have forever

My husband is in Spain and when I went to visit him in August we did the same thing. We collected all our evidence into one file, and we went ahead and collected most of the requirements for the NVC stage. That way we are ready to go when they finally accept our petition. It looks like your wife is in El Salvador, have you been to visit? I love pupusas, have you tried them? I used to work with an El Salvadoran family in their restaurant so I am partial to the food. :)
