I am a US citizen, I filed for my mom (i-130) about almost four months ago. I did received a letter saying it was received but when I look at the website it is cannot be found. Does anybody have same experience with me? Is it normal that the receipt number on the notice letter cannot be found at uscis.gov (almost 4 months)?

It was pretty accurate for us in our K1 stage but when it got to AOS, site was unreliable.

I'm pretty you could call USCIS for your apps status

K1

yes . normal

call uscis get an IO, ask for case status, then inquire as to a transfer.. if it happened, and when.. don't bother asking will it happen

your local office should have it by now
