We have our invterview for the I-130 tomorrow in Seattle and I just realized we didn't make copies of the paper work we sent in!!! Should I re-fill out the forms and bring them in? What should I expect at this interview. Any advice would really help!

Also, It says i'm doing a K1 but I am doing a K3...I just don't know how to change it.

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.

A joint interview? You mean us together?? My husband is here in the country with me, he has not left so the interview is here in Seattle.

Is that what you meant?

Dec 18, DS-3032 & AOS bill sent

Dec 21, NVC accepted choice of agent via email

Dec 22, Sent AOS bill using James' shortcuts

Dec 25, IV Bill Generated

Jan 9, Sent I-864 using James' shortcuts

Jan 15, IV bill arrived

Feb 25 - Biometrics

Jun 1 - Approved! (Decision date was May 26, 09)

Now waiting for green card...

Are you sure your interview isn't the Adjustment of Status based on filing the I130 and I485? K3 is a nonimmigrant visa - no such interview in the U.S. There is also no interview in the U.S. for a CR/IR1 - so I'm thinking you must have an AOS :)

As for your question, it might be worth it to refill in the forms, just in case they are missing something so you can give it to them.

I believe for the AOS interview they generally interview each of you separately - but I'm not sure -- maybe the AOS forum could help?

01/01/07 - NVC generated IV Fee Bill (postmarked 1/17 though!)

01/03/07 - returned AoS Fee Bill via Priority Mail (James' shortcut)

01/22/07 - received IV Fee Bill - overnighted back to NVC same day

haha i'm an idiot its for the form 1-485.....sorry about that!!!! But still any info on what to expect would be awesome :)
