Yep judge conveniently ordered past of TM should not be mentioned during the trial but its ok to bring up past of GZ – what does that tell you?

I definitely agree with that.

If TM has a history of being violent then it makes it more believable that he attacked GZ. And if GZ has a history of anger problems and violence, then it increases the chance that he caused the entire event and maybe even took a swing at TM first. I think both of their pasts are relevant.
