I'd say if minor scratches or as the ME would put it insignificant injuries translate into your fearing great bodily harm, I would suggest that you would not be the person that follows suspicious, up-to-no-good fellas that you have to call the police about in the dark. He felt he's man enough to follow a kid - George's description of the teen - and then he wants to claim fearing for his life (that is his actual claim, by the way) when he is scratched? You might find that credible, I do not.

The jury has to believe - by a preponderance of the evidence - that George had reasonable fear of great bodily harm or death for George to walk. I don't see how that happens.

More of George's lies exposed today as well. Appears that he spoke publicly on Faux News about "Stand Your Ground" claiming he was not familiar with the statute. And tonight, his defense attorneys are trying to dig up case law to justify their request to have excluded from evidence George's taking a class on - you guessed it - the Stand Your Ground statute. The plot thickens.

I don't see how any other human could tell me whether I was in fear of great bodily harm or not. Suppose I'm a 90 lb weakling and a 300 lb outlaw biker doesn't like the way I looked at him and picks me up by my shirt and punches me? I'm in fear for great bodily harm. Bang, I shoot him. I have no doubt that I just defended myself. As I brought it up earlier, NO ONE can state exactly what a person has to go though to be in fear of his life or great bodily harm. Soldiers have run through enemy fire multiple times to save their fellow soldiers. Other people are afraid to flip someone the finger if they get cut off driving. I say you can't define it. GZ was definitely hit by TM more than once. The ME admitted the his head could have been hit against a hard surface more than once. GZ has totally lost all control of the situation. He has great fear that TM is really going to hurt him since he is already getting his a$$ kicked. And what if TM did make a move for the gun? Game over, George chose to save himself, just as any person in their right mind would do.

The standard is "reasonable". You might be in fear but if the jury does not find that to reasonable given the preponderance of the evidence, then you become an involuntary guest of the state's facilities.

That's not news. Martin got a hit or two into Zimmermann. That's well known.

After watching the Hannity interview, there is no doubt in my mind, St. George is guilty of blasphemy. No, you sorry piece of #######, God did not will you to take an innocent life.

That was bizarre, wasn't it? No remorse at all. He'd do it all over again. And that is because God wanted it to happen? Man, this guy's got issues.

Even justifiable acts have penalties.

Killing someone and getting away Scott free is not as common as people think.

In this case there is not a whole history of documented convictions of TM beating the dog snot out of people, even older big people. GZ has the training, the legal experience and the weapon. His end to the story makes sense...to GZ, he's done everything right...according to him and probably the law that he knows.

Maybe your biker has a record, maybe he looks like a biker but is an accountant who rides a Harley on the weekend and has type II diabetes and a bad heart? Will the jury see the biker or the accountant. Depends on your attorney.

Justice is bought and paid for by the defendant. The State always has the same resource to convict...its called endless resources. The defendant has as much as he has hours to pay the attorney.

It's like music, how does this sound to you...how can you not think this is great? If you have a great composer we'll you've got a shot. GZ has a great team, he has a shot.

And George's buddy, the other skinhead, wants every eligible "citizen" to be armed at all times. What is with all that sweating?

Was Gary testifying in court today? I thought he's hanging out at the Turkish beaches in Ankara. whistling.gif

The ME also mentioned injuries to TM's knuckles.

One knuckle was swollen. With the estimated blows of up to 24 that the Defense claims, this always seemed illogical. Both hands would have swelled or been broken on a human head.

The ME states one hit on the cement backward cause two minor lacerations. Not consistent with slamming the head which would cause massive injuries that would require medical treatment with just one impact. That a slam into the pavement would show in his motor skills after the attack...the video and the medical assessment shows none.

Two minor abrasions to the sides of the head which are minor and didn't produce even swelling. Possibly from being rubbed on sidewalk or trying to squirm.

The punch in the nose and puffiness on the forehead is another blow...again not severe at all. As she states a severe punch would have caused massive trauma and loss of consciousness or lingering effects.

She even pointed out the swelling they claimed was just the shape of GZ's head and that all heads are not perfectly round. Defense didn't like that at all and was perplexed by the head not being perfect.

Defense then went on to try different scenarios that possibly happened. None explained more than 6-7 hits total in their wild speculation.

ME presented a great scientific conclusion.

He may have slept through that class, no?

He slept through the "you are not a special snowflake" class. You can't just shoot everyone that whoops you...they get tired of punching too Georgie...they get tired too. That was the MMA intro class that he didn't think he needed.

But I got a cut head and a bloody nose too?

Will it be God's will in the showers at the Florida state Pen?

He's always messing with those Christians like that.

You've stated many times that TM had no injuries.
