Why would I want an innocent man convicted? If he's innocent, I hope he walks. If he isn't, I hope he serves time.

See how logical that is?

I'm not being hysterical about it. I'm not on anyone's "team". I have my opinion of what happened, you have yours.

If my opinion is wrong, then so be it.

I have no idea why you think I'd want an innocent man in jail.

Coz all the comments from you are assuming GZ is guilty.... none of the gives him benefit of doubt.

U sure - yesterday you said he had no other injuries.

Are you sure of that?

I think GZ's actions provoked the situation, absolutely.

Does that mean I think he's guilty? I don't know. I haven't been listening or watching the trial. If there's enough evidence that says it was indeed self defense, then fine. I hope he walks.

I would never want an innocent person in jail.

So you based GZ anger problem on what specifically ?

Not answering for Ms. Lane - but here's my take on George -

He was raised 'white' in a society that never accepted him as 'white' and his anger issues all stem from that.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

The hysteria around here is hard to battle against.

It seems simply thinking this trial is necessary means you want GZ's head or want him hanged or you're a racist or something.

claiming someone has an anger problem then backing it up with two false statements.. Hysteria indeed.

Yes I think GZ provoked the situation

I made one false statement and it was a mistake, not a fabrication.

See what happens when people admit a mistake around here? People like you can't let it go. No wonder nobody bothers saying they were wrong.

Where did I say I was impartial?

Most of the people participating in this thread are just like me - they have an opinion on what they think happened. You're no different.

If my opinion is wrong, and that GZ was sincerely acting in self defense, then I hope he walks.

What's hard to understand about this?

If you stopped spending so much time and effort responding to things people aren't saying, you might actually learn what they really think about something.

The best explanation of the controversy so far. Finally a voice of reason.

I like how he said smokin pot aint no crime. then thought and said at least in some states

He's a good talker, too good. It took him 9 minutes to say what could have been said in 2.

over all seemed like a reasonable guy.

His plea for evidence is ok but the evidence available will not prove conclusively whether it was self defense or not

Yes because in the minds of the shoot them all crowd, he deserved a medal for ridding the world of this weed smoking, school skipping thug.

Coz in our mind we do not want media to make the judgement nor the political figures.

If he was guilty he should had be charged by the police not due to pressure from higher authorities.

Defense is getting slammed by the medical examiner.

The real case is being tried now.

Injuries are not all that severe and the doctor is proving that he didn't receive as many blows as the defense has claimed.

No life threatening situation as far as she's concerned.

You read something wrong.

TM isn't being discussed, its GZ.
