. and they want to see 125% (even read that on the USEM website a few months back, but silly me I didn't bookmark it at the time)

And I say.... show me the MONEY!! I can't find it anywhere.

And when I emailed IVManilaReplies@state.gov about the 100/125 thing they replied back with:

"Please note that the poverty guideline for the contiguous United States as of 2013 is at 100%. The normal minimum for a family-based petition at 125%, does not apply for K visa applicants."

That is if you are petitioning a parent or relative other than a fiance/spouse. It's 100% for K1 applicants, as per the USEM. They really can't get their people on the same sheet of music. They are almost as bad as government employees. Oh wait...

Yup I know about your email reply, you posted it not too long ago, but we both have read otherwise from "victims" .

One thing that has to be remembered is the K-1 visa is processed through... (drum roll please).... the Immigrant Visa Unit... and they all think in "immigrantize" laughing.gif And we all know the CO is............ the all mighty and powerful... OZ!! If they want to see 125% ... well.....

Of course we all know shortly after arriving and getting married comes... AOS... as the K-1 is now an Immigrant. A guy could get dizzy... blink.pngtongue_ss.gif
