I'm chomping at the bit here.....

VJ timeline suggests I should be approved by tomorrow. Pretty much not going to happen. If you had asked me two weeks ago I would have said that was totally possible based on the current trends on igors list etc.

I've typed in 2500 numbers and counting. Just to try to see where some of the most recent approvals are because according to igors list we've had two days at CSC with nothing at all, and most days with less than a handful in the last two weeks.

What I've found is hardly useful information. I just need to occupy my time doing something that feels like it gives me more information than I've got.

Yes I know, loads of people have had to wait way longer than I. I know VJ timeline can sometimes be wrong, but it really seemed on track.....

So something I've noticed is that the majority of fiancé visas do get their Alien reg number assigned within a few days and that at least for march, they seem to do them in batches.

The batches occur on two day intervals, EX there are a slew of the 150 fiancé visas I've found, have March 15 or March 18. And if you look at approvals, the ones with the March 18th are farther ahead in terms of consistency for being approved.

I'm TOTALLY JUST GUESSING HERE AND NOONE SHOULD USE THIS AS A GUIDE.

I am only wanting to vent what I have seen as a pattern in the last two weeks. Based on these clusters and the significant majority of later approvals belonging to the 18th(and always the later of the two dates) I think there may be two adjudicators(or only two at any time) going through the fiancé visa petitions.

And my ultimate belief? One, or both, is on vacation. Which would also explain the speed up in the last monthish. To try and keep the average decisions to a certain standard(in my opinion).

Mostly, I'm just tired of twiddling my fingers, but don't worry the fact that it could be much worse is not lost on me. Just felt the need to share and speculate. smile.png

Its very maddening but what helps me is learning as much about this process as possible. That way when I do get the NOA2 I'm already ahead of the game & hopefully move quicker through the next step! Anyway just try to keep your head up, your day will come! :)
