Have Any TSC Transfers Gotten a Case #???

Hi all! I was a TSC transfer and my NOA2 was 6/18/12. I know it's early, but I was wondering if any other TSC transfers have gotten a case number yet?

6/13 TSC. No.

I'm not aware of any case # for TSC approvals.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I just called the NVC and the lady said 8 weeks now!!! OMG, this is process is so dysfunctional!

I called them on the 26. They asked me the date of my NOA2 and I informed them 6/19. The rep told me 15 business days they should receive the file. That's 3 weeks according to my calculations. So once 15 business days is up from 6/19 I'll be contacting them again. I'll update at that time.

I highly advise this route - the more complaints/annoyances the more likely they will fix the TSC delay (its the govt - annoyances are dealt with not complaints)

I imagine it is different case number processing times for different consulates? I need the SYD Alien Number assigned from the consulate to be able to do my medical. Or that is what i thought. Can you find out the case number from NVC instead? The whole process is a bit of a disaster. You can never understand fully the procedure or when it will move on to the next department - departments don't talk to one another and it is all disjointed.

I need to find out if i can do my medical before i leave for 2 1/2 months to see my fiance. It is so frustrating! We got the NOA2 on July 22. I leave on the 6th Sep and return on the 20th Nov. The plan was to have our paperwork sorted before i left so that we could just schedule my consulate interview for as soon as I get back - but i think that might be wishful thinking seeing everything moves at the pace of a large glacier!
