So 12 days now 9 of them Buisness and the NVC has recieved her file they said they cannot give me a case number other then my WAC cause its not in the system yet. Made me chuckle cause I guess if they say they have it its in the system.

Anyhow Questions and I posted this in thailand because I feel it deals more with Thailand then the NVC so please dont move it :)

When we get the NVC case number is this the number we use for the rest of our K1 Trip or will we get yet another at the embassy?

How long do you guess it will take to get the number and move along to BKK?

My answer isn't specific to Thailand but it does answer a portion of your question.

The NVC assigned number begins with the 3 letter code for your embassy, mine is LND, I assume yours is BKK since you used that in your post. Once this is assigned, it will be your case number at the consulate and through the K-1 portion

Glad you got a laugh out of it but you may want to know what's reality. They don't have in the system until they scan the bar code into the system. So it may be in the mail room but not moving thru the system yet. I am surprised they acknowledged they even have it at this point.

The NVC number will be all you need to work with the embassy. The case will probably or hopefully be gone to BKK by the time you get the number. NVC doesn't do much with these cases.

All cases forwarded to BKK go to the consulate section across the street from the embassy where the I V section is. This causes a small delay in the I V section being able to say they have the case. Do not send in the P 3 info until you are certain they have the case. When you are send it in even if you don't get a notification from them.

Have you sent her a 134 with a tax transcript for at least one year? Tax info isn't a requirement but it is a good idea.

She has a copy of my whole w2 information and my works information stating in stamped format and noterized on my income. It should be more then enough I would think.

Your W 2 isn't enough but it may do for this event. They don't actually require the tax info unless there is a question. To avoid that submit everything you submitted when you filed those taxes. That is every supporting doc.

There is no need to notarize these docs. A notary has nothing to do with content of a document. They only verify signatures which aren't even required on your income info.

Its my w2 and all the stuff submitted with my taxes shes has all copies of it and the embassy site did not request tax transcripts. The Thai embassy site did not request a tax transcript but it states. My taxes are straight forward. Its my wage and my house. Thats it.

I also have my statement from work with the county seal stating my position and my wage.

They don't request nor require tax info for a K 1. What you submitted is ok but it is easier to use the transcripts however either is ok. The submission of these items simply ensures there wont be any questions that the person trying to obtain the visa will have to deal with. They wouldn't know what to say anyway.

Nothing wrong with what you have done and we all only want you to succeed. Your doing fine so far.

I have to disagree with you here Ning.

From P3 instructions

"A Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support) signed by Petitioner can be submitted with a copy of Petitioner’s US passport, an employment letter and a copy of Petitioner’s tax return"

You are right. I hadn't checked for a long time and am glad you corrected what I said.
