So, we got our NOA2 on June 5 and today I got a letter from NVC stating that they're forwarding our information along to the Paris consulate for my fiance. My question is - what should I be doing right now? I've gotten my financial information for myself and my cosponsor, so what else do I need to do? So far I have:

-write new letter of intent

-send I-134 and employer letter, tax return & pay stubs

Is there anything else I or my fiance should be doing? When do we know the interview date and the instructions for the medical exam, etc? Any help is much appreciated!

Use this page as a guide for collecting the information as it offers information on what the Paris embassy will send you in Packet 3:

Thank you! One more question - for the medical exam, will he be required to complete it in Paris? He lives in Portugal and is a Portuguese citizen, but the nearest embassy to him is in Paris. If he needs to go to Paris to do it, should he just arrive a few days beforehand to complete the medical?

Is your fiancé from France or Portugal?

What she can ask is her birth certificate, and police certificate.

For police certificate she will need:

- Police certificate from France (since she is going to have her interview in France, I guess she is living in France?)

- Police certificate from the country of nationality (Portugal, right?)

- Police certificate from all the country has been a resident of for at least one year since the age of 16.

I think the rest of the info in the link given by loughrey is clear. Read very carefully all the "Other form" part (both "K1" and "Note that" sections).

If you just recieved NOA2, it should take about a month for your fiancé to recieve packet 3 (more or less... with this process, nothing is ever certain...)

Good luck in your visa journey!

Your fiancé will have a list of doctors in packet 4.

You can perfectly go to the medical the day before the interview.

The best you could do though is to contact the embassy: ParisConIV@state.gov

That way you'll know if there are doctors in Portugal he can go to.

Good luck in your visa journey!
