I made sure that I had had all of mine before I went for the medical. My practice nurse did them all free of charge.

05/11: Met online, began exchanging emails, texts, and Skype
10/01/11: First meeting
10/06/11: He proposed
07/17/12: Married in Irving
08/21/12: Mailed I-130 to Phoenix, AZ Lockbox
08/28/12: NOA 1, Priority Date, Routed to CSC
09/02/12: transferred to NBC
09/05/12: transferred to local office, Dallas Field Office
01/12/13: NOA 2

02.12.13: Case/IIN Received
02.12.13: AOS bill invoiced
02.19.13: Pay AOS bill
02.22.13: AOS bill shows PAID
02.25.13: AOS package sent

You can have them on the day, at cost. My tetanus jab there was £35, for example.

Your GP will likely do them for free.

It's definitely better if you have them done in advance in the UK rather than pay more for them at the medical.

K1s do not need all the vaccines to pass the medical (but you will for AoS).

CR1/IR1 must have all their vaccines to pass the medical. If you don't want to pay for them at the medical, I imagine you'll be sent away to have them done then have to book a second medical to complete the vaccine requirements.

Assuming you're an adult, you need 2 doses of MMR and a tetanus shot in the last 10 years. You should visit your GP for a vaccination record as you may well already be up to date and require no more jabs. If it was flu season, you'd also need a flu shot.
