I got my case number this morning!!!

I've called DOS at 8:30 am. The woman who picked up, was very nice! She just asked me my receipt number from USCIS, my full name, and the date of my birth.

She said my case it is still at NVC, but finally I got the number. smile.png Good luck July Filers!!!!!!! Let's to get our interview date now!!! smile.png

Yay! That's great news - now we're on to the fastest part, before the great slowdown of AOS, haha!

It looks like I should call DOS. What is the number? I got my NOA2 on Sept. 10th and NVC still has not received it.

DOS and NVC actually access information from the same database. DOS' number is: 202 485 7600. :) Good luck!

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Help needed!

I have my visa interview on November 6th at the American Embassy in Stockholm. I have a question that I was hoping to get a little help with from other K1 filers, who have already gone through the interview process at the embassy in Sweden :)

- In the guidelines in my 'packet 3' it says that I have to pay an interview-fee and present an original reciept form my bank. All the banks I've talked to in Denmark, my own included, do not issue hardcopies of receipts any longer. They send it to you by email. Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

Thanks a million and good luck to everyone!

Hi there. Have you tried posting your question on the regional Europe forum? For Singapore, a specific bank is named in the packet 3 instructions and we can only make payment at that bank, which will issue the receipt. Did your instructions say anything similar?

Hi!

No, the instructions just says to make a giro-transfer in a bank and then get the original reciept...and that internet-reciepts are not accepted. BUT Danish banks no longer make original reciepts only internet ones...hmm...I'm sure there is a solution to this, and someone else who've dealt with the same issue :)

Thanks for the advice about posting in the other forum, I'll try that too :)
