Oh noooooo!!! I was so watching for you to breeze right through this stage after such a long lag between NOA2 and NVC receipt! Ugh! Well, hopefully it's a minor, minor, very short delay.....<<ugh!!>>cray5ol.gif

Thank you! My hopes of having Tichi here by Christmas are slowly dwindling. Trying to remain positve but realistic. :/

I got my case number this morning!!!

I've called DOS at 8:30 am. The woman who picked up, was very nice! She just asked me my receipt number from USCIS, my full name, and the date of my birth.

She said my case it is still at NVC, but finally I got the number. :) Good luck July Filers!!!!!!! Let's to get our interview date now!!! :)

I called NVC yesterday at 6pm eastern time, and after waiting 45 minutes my call was finally answered. The lady was very nice, she gave me our case number, and she also gave me two other numbers she said we will need, the Customer ID# and Invoice ID#. I was not aware of these numbers so i'm glad she saved me from having to call again. She also advised me that our case was shipped to Athens on the 18th.

Wow you must be one of the first July filers to have an interview set up already! Best of luck and let us know how it goes! :)

It is nice that things are moving along so fast, but the timing is kind of bittersweet. She has a plane ticket to come visit from November 2nd until late January. Her trip will almost certainly be cut short, we had planned to spend Christmas and new year's eve together.
