Awesome! Still "At NVC" for us. By the timelines for Germany it is normally 2-4 days on average before they were sent out so hopefully not too much longer. :D

There are about 28 July filers who haven't received NOA2s according to Igor's list. So much of this immigration process seems to be based on luck and it's anyone's guess why they process some cases quicker than others. :( It will all be worth it once you're together though. Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get yours soon - we are rooting for you!

Thank you!

At least half of those 28 haven't logged in to the site for quote some time (yes, I check, haha!) so I imagine that's why they're still on the list as unapproved.

At least before we had a date to look forward to (VJ's estimated date of adjudication) and so it was easy to forget about it and be patient. But now that those dates are way in the past, and I have literally no idea of when to expect anything, it's much harder. I don't know if it'll be next week, next month, or next year! I've been wondering if we can cancel our petition and file another.

My contract at work is up at the end of the year, and going by the initial estimates I thought the timing would work out perfectly for my departure, but now it's looking like I'll have to start looking for something else. Considering it took me 8 months to get my current job due to the current market, I'm terrified of the prospect. My USC partner is here in NZ with me until early next year, and I didn't ever think we would have to do the distance again.

Oh, USCIS - this is one tough process. And after enduring DOMA, I thought everything else would be easier.

2013 7/15 I-129F sent, 7/18 received Dallas lockbox, 7/22 NOA1, 10/22 NOA2, 11/15 NVC Case Created, 11/20 NVC Shipped, 11/25 Consulate received, 11/28 Packet 3 received/returned, 11/29 Medical, 12/9 Packet 4 received

2014 1/9 Interview - Approved, 1/15 CEAC - Issued, 1/17 Visa in hand, 2/5 POE: LAX, 4/4 Married!, 4/8 AOS/EAD/AP filed, 4/14 NOA1, 5/7 Walk-in biometrics, 5/19 EAD/AP approved (expedited), 5/22 EAD/AP mailed, 5/23 EAD/AP received, 7/29 Interview waiver letter

2015 4/13 AOS approved (no interview), 4/22 Green card received

2017 1/17 I-751 ROC filed (VSC), 1/23 NOA, 2/28 Biometrics

2018 1/31 ROC approved

2020 1/14 N400 filed

Ok, so I couldn't wait and got J to call tongue.png Unfortunately, no case number yet. He had to wait 45 minutes on hold. Geez.

BrazilANDAmerica, you might want to try calling between 7-8 a.m. EST. The past couple of times I've called at that time, there was a 2-3 minute wait at most, if at all.

Hey guys! July filer here, have gotten the NA02 and I have our case # ... Anyway; so I received a letter on OCT 2nd stating that our case will be shipped to the consulate within a week. It's been over 2 weeks now. I've called the manila embassy and they don't have it yet. Is it normal for it to take so long on being shipped?

Call NVC and ask them when it was sent out. They will give you the date.

Hello everyone. I am really glad for everybody that the process started moving fast after noa2s. We are also a july filers and our papers is already in a Warsaw US Embassy. Yesterday I recieved a letter from NVC which said that they have sent our petition to the embassy and it also stated that "In meanwhile, please have your fiance(e) and his or her children visit ceac.state.gov and complete form DS-160 to apply for K visa." I am confused now about onlne DS-160 form, because Before I read that for those who apply for K-1 visa it is not nessecerely to fill it out, but recently i found that info -

"Visa applicants must submit a completed DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application for all nonimmigrant visa categories, including applicants applying for K visas.

NOTE: For K visa cases in process at a U.S. embassy or consulate, the DS-160 is not required when, prior to October 7th, 2013, one of the following situations exist:

The K visa applicant is already scheduled for an interview.

The K visa applicant has already been interviewed and has been requested to submit additional documentation or is pending administrative processing.

The K visa applicant has already submitted a valid, signed, unexpired DS-156, DS-156K and/or DS-230 or received instructions to do so. "

This is from travel.state.gov website. Please anybody new about it or that is only me who was surprised about it. Back in 3-4 month when I sent our petition to USCIS I remember reading about that for k-1 visa aplicants this form is not needed. But I see that they renew something recently.
