Just wondering if anyone from July who has had NOA2 knows if the NVC has got their petition yet? We got the approval message last week (26/9) and a message two days later (28/9) saying it had been shipped to NVC. Wondered if anyone with approvals earlier in July had confirmation that it was received yet, trying to gauge how long the next parts of this are taking...

Congrats to everyone else who has had NOA2 so far! Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else on the thread :)

oh wow, i just looked at my estimates.. and from being possibly adjudicated 1st week of october, its now sept 13!! i'm getting really excited about this :D

Same here! Checked the USCIS site and it now says "On September 3, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)."

Bummed at getting and RFE, but excited to see my petition has been touched! Excited and apprehensive too see what they need...

I feel exactly the same way. I tried finding out what the RFE is for over the phone with no luck. I hope since I'm not fast from the service center that I get the letter hardcopy today. I pray its something easy for both of us.

It seemed September 3 & 4 are the RFE days lol. Still waiting but at least it's for another reason... kind of lol.

Recieved email this morning and my petition was approved. Approval in 36 days. My stomach has butterflies

Okay, let me be the first to state:

08/27/2013 7:15 a/m CST Email Received / USCIS / On August 27, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing.

09/05/13 : Case received at DOS and MNL Number issued.

The gentelman I conversed with at DOS was very nice about the conversation. I asked when he received the case and when the MNL number was issued. He replied "Sept. 5", then we both realized at the same time " THAT'S TODAY"

Please keep in mind that some dates are only known after receipt of another document.
For example, the USPS Form 3811. The stamped receiving date was not know until the original Form 3811 was received on 07/13/2013 1:30 p/m CST.

YAY!!!!! I JUST received a text stating a status update. We received our RFE today!! I knew one was coming as I never had divorce doc translated when I sent in our packet - ugh!! I have the translation sitting here ready and waiting!! Never thought I'd be so excited for a RFE! Ha haaa! Praying that this is all that is needed. Anyway, that's the latest and greatest! :-)

Awaiting Oath Ceremony for Citizenship! Last step!

That's brilliant :) One less stress to worry about and hopefully it will be with the consulate soon :)

What number did you call to speak to someone? I was going to get John to start chasing this on Monday but I've been told so many things!

Good news people, seems like a lot of cases are being looked at now! I was just wondering... I had my approval notification back on the 22nd of August and I haven't heard anything else, no notification of my case being sent off. Although it does say on the notification... Post decision activity may include sending notification of the approved case to the nvc or dos. Should I still be getting another notification before it gets sent off?? Thanks!!
