RFE is good! At least you know your case was worked on. Or maybe I just see it that way because I'm so sick of seeing "Initial Review" on my case. lmao! anyhow, you're one step closer! congrats!

RFE is good! At least you know your case was worked on. Or maybe I just see it that way because I'm so sick of seeing "Initial Review" on my case. lmao! anyhow, you're one step closer! congrats!

I think of the RFE like that too. It did make me feel happy they looked at our petition. I called the number on the email & got through rather quickly after all the prompts. The rep on the other line was surprisingly very sweet yet very helpful. She said she doesn't see anything that I would have to call back tomorrow when the other department was open.

15-07-2013 - I-129F Sent

17-07-2013 - NOA1

03-09-2013 - RFE email rec'd

06-09-2013 - RFE Hardcopy with reason rec'd

10-09-2013 - Mailed RFE reply

13-09-2013 - Email & text rec'd at USCIS

24-09-2013 - NOA2 (69 days)

31-10-2013 - Sent to NVC from CSC (took 37 days)

14-11-2013 - Sent to US Jamaican Embassy from NVC

18-11-2013 - Received at US Jamaican Embassy

NEVER - Packet 3 received. Fellow VJ'r shared what she received

19-12-2013 - Medical

12-12-2013 - Packet 4 received

10-01-2014- Interview rec'd 221g for missing items

27-02-2014- 2nd Interview - APPROVED!!!

13-03-2014- Visa ISSUED

19-03-2014- Visa in-hand

30-04-2014 - POE Fort Lauderdale, FL

14-6-2014- Wedding (tentatively)

So many petitions with the same timeline as mine already got NOA2's... I think I turned into a USCIS site junkie. I swear, that "initial review" status is mocking me... mad.gif

So many petitions with the same timeline as mine already got NOA2's... I think I turned into a USCIS site junkie. I swear, that "initial review" status is mocking me... mad.gif

Hi! Your NOA1 day is the same as mine... Don't feel alone :)

To be honest, (don't wanna jinx) I think they have already worked on all "THE EASY" petitions for July.

Now, we have to wait the normal time (5 months - more or less)... Pity, but true.

Although I hope we can get our NOA2 this week!!!!! :)

Adjustment of Status - AOS K1 Visa:

2014-07-27: NOA Date

2014-08-15: RFE

2014-10-30: RFE Response

2014-10-31: RFE Received

2014-11-20: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

2015-04-05: Interview Schedule

2015-05-11: Interview - Approved!

2015-05-20: Card was delivered to me by the post office... Green Card in hands! :)

Employment Authorization Document – EAD

2014-07-19: Date Filed

2014-07-27: NOA Date

2014-11-21: Approved Date

2014-11-24: Card Was Ordered To Be Produced

2014-12-01: Card Was Mailed To Me

2014-12-03: Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office

Advance Parole – AP

2014-11-25: Advance parole Document Was Produced

2014-11-30: Advance Parole Received by mail (only for my both kids, not for me (?)

YaaaY we got touched!

Boooo we got a RFE but I guess we have to wait to get the hard copy to see what we need to show. I feel like I reinforced everything with the almost 200 page petition.

If I call the number in here tomorrow I wonder if they will tell me why so I can get started sending it back ASAP.

But still YaaY because I know they know we exist because we have been TOUCHED! (Dancing like a wild woman!)

There seems to be a lot of RFE's lately. I noticed that when I was doing my receipt number checking.

Same here! Checked the USCIS site and it now says "On September 3, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)."

Bummed at getting and RFE, but excited to see my petition has been touched! Excited and apprehensive too see what they need...

Totally agreed!! I've been trying to limit my USCIS visits (again) but I suppose...all good things come in time <sigh> Praying this is OUR WEEK!!! ;-)

Awaiting Oath Ceremony for Citizenship! Last step!

Could be, though I think the majority of K1 petitions are fairly simple if there are no previous marriages/kids/crimes involved.

Ours hasn't even been touched, though for this week I'm actually glad. My fiancé just moved house and has no internet so is unable to do the online change of address thing. Would be just our luck for them to send a NOA2 to his old place :P
