I did what you guys did and played around with the receipt numbers, before me are a lot of RFE's and 1 approval. After me are all still NOA1. Very nice to know I'm between the worked and unworked numbers dry.png

Most of the numbers around me are for EADs and that kind of thing. The I-129Fs that I can find are all still on initial review. Mine was sent to TSC on August 8th so I guess I'm 2 days behind everyone who got transferred on the 6th. Most of the Texas transfers who have been approved seem to be the ones transferred on the 6th, so maybe I'll hear something soon. Then again, as someone already said, there doesn't seem to be any particular order to this so maybe not :P

I'm in the same situation, I have trips booked for Oct and Dec. I THINK you can schedule the medical to suit you in the UK. I can't leave til next July so I plan to schedule my medical for January. When it comes to the interview scheduling you just get given an appointment, so when you send in your DS forms (packet 3) include a line in your cover letter saying "I am away from this date to this date so please schedule my interview after those dates."

HELLO WANNA ASK. DO I NEED TO WAIT FOR THE MAIL ABOUT NOA2 HARDCOPY BEFORE I CAN CALL THAT NUMBER?? WHAT WILL THEY ASK BEFORE THEY GIVE THE CASE NUMBER?? TY FOR REPLY..smile.png

All you need is your USCIS Receipt Number. They'll also ask you the name of the petition and the beneficiary. I never had someone tell me I needed the hard copy in hand. That being said... It looks like NVC is taking 2+ weeks to assign a case number and more than in month in more extreme cases. They also say that the case number assignment could take up to 8 weeks. You could save yourself some frustration by waiting for a week or so before calling them.

I filed in July and our I-129f petition has already been approved?? Anyone else get approved so quickly? I'm sort of in shock right now, we had assumed it would be a longer process...
