How about the EAD and AP?

ead and ap are free if you file them with aos. (At least that's what I've heard.)

That's correct.

About $3,000 like said if you include AOS (which you better), but you also need to include the cost of the medical, CFO, Travel Tax and if you Fiancee doesn't live in the Manila/Makati area hotel expense.

Information on Medical, CFO, and the varied taxes can be found in the link in my signature below

That of course is the K1 visa route... There is also the spousal visa route and as you haven't filled in your timeline I don't know if you're started in one direction or another (beyond the obvious posting in the k1 visa forum.)

From filing to Citizenship?

I-130 petition- $420

Affidavit of support - $88

IV application: - $230

New Immigrant Fee - $165

ROC - $590

Citizenship - $690

Total = $2183

FYI ROC isn't needed for an IR1 only a CR1. So if you are married for 2 or more years at the POE you get a 10 year green card.

You file for EAD and AP when you file the I-485 to adjust status. The fees for the EAD and AP forms are waived, AOS is $1070 with or without EAD and AP.

Let's not forget the cost of travel.

Both the K1 visa and CR-1 routes require a one-way (or round-trip if cheaper) ticket for the fiance/wife to come to the states. For me, this was about $1200.

If you have already met your fiance, but have not married, the CR-1 route will cost an additional round-trip ticket for the US citizen, the cost of hotels, and the cost for getting married. In my case, a round trip ticket to the Philippines is about $1400. Oh, and don't forget the cost of vacation time from work while you're gone.

I think in the end, this makes the K1 route the cheapest in most cases where you have already met your fiance but did not marry her.
