Did you quote the wrong person? :P The person you quoted was talking about their DS-3032 not being approved, not that their case hadn't arrived yet at NVC.

Good catch, Saylin! Yeah, my mistake. :( Right person, wrong email copy/paste.

I looks like rjkhuletz got the acceptance email already, so I won't be adding another response.

"Your visa has been printed. Depending on local procedures at the location where you were interviewed, your visa will be mailed or available for pickup soon. If there are further questions, or if we need updated contact information, you will be contacted."

Well Saylin, some very good news as you can see!

My question is: When will the Visa expire?

My wife already purchased an airplane ticket for late September but for a small fee she can change the date. I told her not to purchase a ticket ahead of time but there was a special promotion so she only paid around $150 for a one way ticket from Paris to Boston. And I believe it will cost her $50 to change the date.

Woohoo, looks like she's actually getting the visa this time!! Congrats! kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

Typically, the visa is valid for 6 months, but it may be a little different in your case as the visa took so long to issue. Ultimately, you'll just have to wait and see as the expiration date will be clearly printed on the visa. She should have enough time though if the flight's in September. And wow.gif , that's an amazing deal! Even if she does have to pay to change it, that's still pretty cheap for a one-way from Europe to the US.

Hello everyone.

I was in Montreal for my interview yesterday morning and was approved!! Praise God!

I have posted a full review in the Canada forum.

I caught a plane a few hours after the interview and arrived home (after a delay of two hours and a two hour drive) at 1:40 am today.

I made it to work this morning on time so 24 hours (not counting time difference of three hours) after my interview I was back at work. Disorienting indeed. My wife called me at 11 am and said Loomis called - they have a package for me. I went over at lunch and yes - my visa is already here!! The day after the interview. Unbelievable!!!

I just want to thank each and every one of you for all the help and support over the past six months (yes, just over six months from filing). I especially want to thank Saylin ( I don't know whether to call you St. Saylin or Saintlin but you are a Godsend to people here), Darnell, NikiR and KDH. My thoughts are with bsd058 who was still there when I left.

To all of you going through this you are in my prayers. It will happen. God bless - and thank you.
