Couldnt access my AOS coversheet online, so they emailed it to me. (came within a day)

Question is, which address do I use? They are both indicated in the email, just confusing on which one to use.

Back when I was going through the NVC, they were able to tell me that the file was in the building and the date it got there.

I think it's different for the petition file they receive from USCIS, and mail with AOS/IV packets. I notice you emailed those packets.

For mail from USCIS they can still tell when it was received, even before it's entered into their system and case # generated.

For mailed packets from us, it seems in some cases they enter them in their system couple of days after receiving them, but do not start reviewing them until days later, while for other cases they don't see them in their system until the review actually starts.

USCIS (106 days) US Consulate/Medical

12/18/12- NOA1 08/22/13- Medical

04/03/13- NOA2 09/16/13- Interview (Approved!)

Transit (68 days) 09/19/13- Visa in hand

NVC (59 days) 09/19/13- USCIS Immigrant Fee paid, ELIS: Circle: Accepted, Status: Case Received

06/10/13- Case Received ELIS/GC Production (63 days)

06/19/13- Case # and IIN Received 12/14/13- POE Houston

06/19/13- DS-3032 emailed 12/23/13- SSN card arrived in the mail

06/21/13- AOS bill paid 02/06/14- ELIS: Circle: Optimized, Status: In Process

06/25/13- DS-3032 accepted 02/07/14- USCIS status: Initial Review

06/26/13- IV bill paid 02/10/14- USCIS status: Card Production

06/28/13- AOS and IV packages sent 02/13/14- ELIS Circle: Closed, Status: Card Produced

07/23/13- IV accepted 02/15/14- card arrived in the mail

07/26/13- AOS accepted

07/26/13- Case complete

07/30/13- Interview scheduled (for 09/16/13)

08/08/13- Case left NVC For my FULL timeline, see my "About Me" page.

It's funny when I called about my email packets they told me they can't see anything on them at all and I should wait for the emails that say they were accepted. Go figure.

Personally, I think it depends on the reviewer and the people in the mailroom. Busy day and they don't update it all, but slower day and they do all the appropriate paperwork.

After all with over 270,000 spousal cases alone last year, they are probably super busy people .

to resend with the biodata is not a problem

however,

when i did this - i note it delayed things by 3 days, till they caught up with the right email.

otoh, i did get some relief on another mis-send - i called in after the final-final resend, talked with a supervisor, explained which email was the right one, and the supervisor got the 'email guy' to find it, detach it, and add it to the casefile. IMO, doing that was a godsend, as that set was detached and reviewed the same day.
