sad.pngsad.png I just received a checklist for my AOS. Apparently I copied the wrong number from the tax transcript for 2012. :\

Also just received confirmation just right now that my IV package has been approved. grrrrr, so mad at myself right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how u feel. I was in a similar situation last week and i felt my head was about to blow off. Take it easy, and send another AOS to them right away with the correct figures. I just took it as part of life, and moved on. When were your files (AOS & IV) actually reviewed? Good luck!!

I know how u feel. I was in a similar situation last week and i felt my head was about to blow off. Take it easy, and send another AOS to them right away with the correct figures. I just took it as part of life, and moved on. When were your files (AOS & IV) actually reviewed? Good luck!!

I'm going through EP (Electronic Processing):

AOS Sent on 6/19, received on 7/3 (confirmation via e-mail), and today (7/11) I received the checklist. I really hope it's not another 3 weeks!!

IV sent on 6/25, received on 7/10 (confirmation via e-mail), and I learned today (7/11) it was approved (via phone).

I may have messed up. I received the checklist at work and resent the AOS but only corrected the specific page and left the rest the same (I deleted the page from the PDF and inserted a new one). But I talked to someone at the NVC and they told me to resend & resign/date the new AOS. :( So I have to do that first thing tomorrow morning when I get to work (no printer at home).

When you resubmit the corrected I-864 you must submit the entire thing, do not just submit the corrected parts. Resubmit the entire I-864, with a new signature (in black pen) and a new date. You shouldn't have to resubmit evidence unless it's asking for evidence. Also make sure you write your case number on the top of each page that way if one is lost, and they find it, they can put it with your case file again.

YAY SSN arrived!!

So I called them and I don't know why I completely didn't fill out part 6 #13. It's frustrating that I forgot to do something so simple. Oh well atleast my packet was reviewed. I can hope for a sept interview right? :'( Edited by immihelp99

Yep sure can. Fill out a new form, TRIPLE CHECK you did everything and then triple check the numbers, sign, date and send away!

So, at 11:30pm EST, I received an e-mail stating the review of my husband's Birth Document has officially started. The NVC started showing something in their system on Tuesday, 07/10/13.... I called 2x yesterday, and once earlier today....... So, we will see how long the review takes. I do wonder if the e-mail is delayed like on the other steps of the process.... I will continue to call everyday....

edit: please note that the reviewer's signature data states "Serco Inc, Support Contractor" What is that all about?

Serco Inc means that he NVC is outsourcing services , therefore someone got a fat contract !unfortunately i think that's what makes evrything so unreliable...

sad.pngsad.png I just received a checklist for my AOS. Apparently I copied the wrong number from the tax transcript for 2012. :\

Also just received confirmation just right now that my IV package has been approved. grrrrr, so mad at myself right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received the same checklist item last week, called the NVC and got 2 different answers on what number they really wanted. I finally had to ask them what line item on the tax return they wanted reported on the AOS.

I resubmitted the AOS yesterday (7/10). It took 2 weeks to get the acknowledgement it was being reviewed and another 2 weeks to get the checklist. I hope this didn't set the process back another month. I know everything else has been approved. Anyone think an August interview date is still possible???

No.

You should be the agent for the beneficiary because you live in the USA. He can give them his email address and they will email both of you all the information, but your mailing address is what they need. That way if they do send any hard copies of anything (which they won't) then you will be sure to get it vs unreliable mail overseas.

I'm unsure why you two would be sending everything from India to the NVC instead of him sending it to you to send to the NVC but if that's how you want to work it.

I'll be in India all of august. I have not paid my AOS / IV bill yet (received case # yesterday) so assuming if i pay the bill by the 4th week of july - the packages would have to be sent thereafter...I wont be in the country for the entire month of august and would hate to wait all this while to send both the packages...

I figured i'll do his end of the paperwork while i'm there in India.
