Okay sorry for the delay. What exactly does the letter/221g or form your wife was given say? Can you post or type out what it says.

I know of folks they say "need initial start of relationship evidence". So what specifically of the relationship did they ask for?

1. Also in your initial I-130 package what did you submit for evidence?

2. What was taken to the interview by your wife as evidence?

3. Did they ask to see or or refuse?

So you didn't have any of this submitted in your petition?

What did you submit to them? Then we can see what went wrong. And get the right evidence in their hands.

Well here's a list of ideas that you can also gather. For many of us (like Nigeria, the MENA's) we have tgis evidence up fron (Front-loading) so CO has all this in their hands at interview. So gather up your stuff fast as you can and get it to embassy don't delay.

  • Phone bills showing who called whom
  • Letters
  • Greeting cards
  • Chat logs

  • Passport stamps
  • Hotel receipts with both your names
  • Vacation / honeymoon photos
  • Receipts or bank statements showing remote ATM withdrawals (to show you were pulling money from that location at such time)

3. Evidence of Co-habitation During Marriage

  • Birth certificates of any children born to you together
  • Mortgage loan contract or lease contract with both partners’ names in it
  • Utility bills with both partners’ names
  • Receipts with both partners’ names in shipping/billing address
  • Pictures of you two living together

4. Evidence of Joint Ownership of Assets and Shared Financial Responsibility

  • Joint bank account statements
  • Proof of joint credit card use

You have to wait. He may need a new medical before he's out of AP.

Hi Dwheels, and everybody;

In regards to your response on “Front-Loading” my wife will be going to the Ghana embassy, and I am sure it’s also considered to be one of the high fraud embassies. We sent the following docs to USCIS (I-130 packet) as proof of our marriage:

  1. Change of Name Affidavit (My wife changed her last name after our wedding).
  2. Gazette Certificate (This is the certificate of publication of the change of name in the national newspapers.
  3. Biographic page of her old and new passports (Showing that she changed her last name).
  4. Joint Bank statement from Ghana with three months activities (This was opened two months before our wedding).
  5. About 25 pictures from our wedding and other times together.

For the interview, we plan to send the following:

  1. Affidavits from two well known high ranking police officials in Ghana (My wife works for the Ghana police service), our best man, and her medical doctor;
  2. Life insurance statements from me, naming her as the beneficiary;
  3. Life insurance statements from her, naming myself as the beneficiary;
  4. Updated joint bank accounts statements from Ghana;
  5. Moneygram receipts and web logs;
  6. Boarding passes, old plane tickets, and passport stamps from my previous visits;
  7. Additional pictures from wedding and other times together;
  8. Our phone records, highlighting when we made and receive calls/texts from each other;
  9. Wassup and skype chat logs (about 200 pages combine but the will be the last item in the file so that the CO doesnt get overwhelmed at the beginning);
  10. Indenture bearing the name of the two of us related to some lands we purchased in Ghana.

I plan to attend the interview myself, and hope it could make a difference. I am somehow confident about the package we are taking to the interview, but quiet nervous for failing to “front-load”

Now my question is that since we didn’t “Front-load” are there any suggestions you have for us?

Thanks!!

WOW u sent nothing really upfront to show an ongoing. All you can do now is just take want you listed and hope they ask to see or that they don't need it. Not

showing any communications up front they have no way to even determine if you even speak regularly.

Joint accounts is more for people who are living together. That will be good evidence when you remove conditions 2 years down the road.

I WOULD NOT show any money transfers because what it can imply. It doesn't help. If asked sure show but do not volunteer it.

There is nothing you can do now your case is done and sitting at the embassy. So just wait until interview time. I am sure it will be fine.

Our case completed on Aug 15. When I called yesterday, NVC operator said we are just waiting for the interview date from Montreal. How long does it take to get interview date assigned normally?

You in the wrong thread but probably you will get October interview and that can start anytime from end of this month t=through 2nd week of september. I know September folks waiting over 2 months some 3 months. It's all about availability.

You should be over in the September thread. i do have you on the list.
