Well what I have read right in this very thread from others about New Delhi and Mumbai is the flooding has caused alot of issues and July interviews had to be moved to August. So that explains for India why no one here got any dates. Hoping things are better and there is room in September for you all.

For Canada and DR. I have no clue maybe summer rush don't know it is odd. But I would gather its peak season for visitor and they may take up alot of the slots. who knows.

El Salvador has always been a 2 to 3 month wait after Case Complete so hopefully September is your month. Your embassy is one of the busiest on earth.

Honestly I have no idea how your embassy does things. I guess try calling some only take email check the embassy website for IV unit and see.

Are you sure that for China, it is the embassy does the scheduling instead of NVC? Because I want to schedule an earlier date.

For EP Casefiles headed to Guangzhou,

NVC sets the appointment.

However, once it's set, it's possible to ask for an earlier date, WITH GUZ IV, via their web form email thingie. Let me know if you need the URL.

Thank you for the information. I went back and read about the rescheduling. Not a good sign! I too am hoping they can schedule all of us in September. Fingers are crossed.

Dwheels how about us embasssy in singapore its this country is busy? I dont know why i was not able to get a interview schedule well in the vj we are only few here. and about interview for students. I think its only few also. and k1 to their not at busy. my husband and I went to us embassy last time he is here. there is no cueing too. I know its been a week since Our case was been completed.

Just got a bit of a heart attack...I just received this from the NVC. Is this a false checklist? We are on hold at the moment at NVC...

NVC has completed the review of this case. However, our review of the

I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A (if applicable) Affidavit of Support form

and supporting documents that you have submitted indicates that there is

still some missing documentation.

We are sending you the attached checklist, which indicates which

documents are still missing. You should obtain these documents and

forward them to the visa applicant so they may be presented at the final

interview. The applicant must present all required forms and documents,

including the missing items to the Consular officer at the visa interview.

Please pay specific attention to questions marked in the attached I-864,

I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A checklist.

Failure to present the missing items indicated and/or to make the

necessary corrections at the visa interview could result in a denial or delay

in obtaining a visa for the sponsored applicant.

If you need a new I-864 form, please visit the Department of State website

at the following address: www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and read the

Affidavit of Support (I-864) instructions. From there you can fill out the

form online and print it to send to the visa applicant for the interview.

You will be notified when an interview has been set. Do not contact

post regarding your interview date until you have been notified.

We just got off the phone with the NVC. This has to be the most confusing form we have ever filled out.

We put the Gross Income in our Original AOS, we got a checklist saying it didnt match our W2. We filled out a new form and put that amount in the new AOS and now got another checklist saying it did not match the tax return. So we have to fill a new form again and submit it at the time of the interview but we are so unbelievably confused as to what amount to put in there!
