Hi Dwheels,

I tried to call DOS and they said that they are not part of the scheduling for the interviews so they wouldn't know why NVC is so late this month.

I was told the exact same thing. I even tried to reach embassy, and they replied saying NVC does the scheduling.

So, just waiting and waiting and waiting..............

at people a PSA I need to do. I think we got a bit spoiled since January. Because honestly the 2nd week of the month was the usual interview scheduling. Like around now.

But at end of January they started scheduling like the last couple of days of month for the next round and we got use to it and liked it. It went like this.

January 28 - Feb 8- started interviews scheduled for March

Feb 28 - march 7- started interviews scheduled for April

March 28 - April 7- started interviews scheduled for May

April 28 - may 8 - started interviews scheduled for June

May 28 - June 8- started interviews scheduled for July

July XX-July XX- started interviews scheduled for August

So thats how it was, I believe the AOS fiasco just messed everything up and slowed NVC down to "all hands on deck" and focusing on getting that logjam going.

Don't worry the interviews will be coming and you will be crying and posting.

Do me a favor when you get your appointment just post the date I will update the list. Cuz i believe this will come in a flood. I think what they are doing is getting ready to release a major batch email of interview appointments. So hang in their people.

Oh gosh . . . I hope you are right. I have had butterflies in my stomach since yesterday. We really need an August interview. My husband and daughter will start school in September and I just want to move on from this immigration fiasco until citizenship in three years (hopefully).

I bet the AOS fiasco is why we aren't hearing about interviews yet. Plus summer is always a busy time...

Yes, everything seems pushed back cuze of AOS. I hope they get this done soon. lots of people are waiting and after so long bumpy journey, it is hard for us to even wait for a day. Can't wait to hear that magic date. Good Luck everyone..

Ok my hubby called today and supervisor said that becuz we sent the bc , they had to review it again and that made a new CC !!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now the funny thing is that I just received an email with checklist subject and my heart droped Like crazyyyyyyyyyyy ! I open it and it says all the same checklist stuff bla bla bla . And at the bottom of the letter where they usually tell you what they need it says : we have received all the nessesary documents and your file will be send to the us embassy as soon as an interview date is available for you !!!!!!!!!!!!

Okkkkkkk now I really think something is not working right in NVC !!!!!!! They are playing with my mind and heart !!!!! I hope I can survive this !!!

Sorry to hear that. NVC is gone mad, issuing new CC often and that without any legit reason. They are just looking for delaying things. Since last month, if you see, many people are checklist for no real reason. Some officers at NVC are getting arrogant, angry and lazy. I hate to call them but have no option. Not a single person on VJ received interview date this month. They are playing with everyone's mind and they don't care about heart, so no point even mentioning that.

Summer I swear I am going to put you ion internet and phone timeout. I know its not funny but you must sit back and LOL.

In a few days you will be going nuts over medical and such.

I must admit I feel for those who get early august but hey 2 to 3 weeks to prepare I'll take it. Alll most need is what a week or 2.

The AOS fiasco is the new I-864 form. Those who submitted the new form way ahead of the june 23rd date got stopped and NVC didn't have the capability (software) to review.

So only old forms were being reviewed and its taking about 4 to 6 weeks to get your AOS package reviewed now.
