Hi,

when I filed the case at NVC, I submitted the original birth certificate and certified marriage certificate. Now when I looked into IL and on their website, it is asking us to bring original at interview. Is the embassy expecting us to bring another original certificate again!!?? or that is just to remind those who have submitted certified copy.

Just got my packet 4 email!! On the 1st page it lists my wife's name under the Applicants Eligible to Attend the Interview. I know from reading reviews of the Montreal consulate, that many USCs accompany their beneficiaries to the interview. I will be going to the interview with my wife. Does anyone know if they will let me go with her to the actual interview booth? Or do I need to email the Montreal consultate or NVC to get my name added to the list of people who can attend?

Thanks.

Just go by your checklist you got in your P4 letter. All embassies will have bring originals. But what ever was submitted to USCIS or NVC you do not need originals.

God Bless Canada !! My interview is September 25th 2013 @ 9:30 am......Nicole call hun cause your date should be booked too !!!! Dang I am one happy girl

WOOT!!!

I just phoned and my wife's interview is on Sept 18th... Anyone who's waiting from Canada should call, or I'm sure e-mails will be arriving in the next couple of days smile.png

CONGRATS!!!

Good to see several fellow Canada members have gotten their interview scheduled!! Congrats!!!
My wife's interview is scheduled for Sept 23! We'll be there bright and early smile.png
Now just waiting to receive packet 4 email... By the way, our case completed on July 16.

YAY! YAY!

Yeesssssss!! Friday, September 13th!! I'm shaking! OMG I'm so superstitious too! 13 has now become my favorite number!!!!

THAT'S SO AWESOME!!!

Does anyone know if we can pick up the visa in montreal sometime after the interview

We may stay in montreal a few days

if we can rather than have them send it by loomis

You have to select loomis, without the loomis Ref number you will not get in for your interview. But if you want to have it delivered in Montreal, pick the Dorval location, that is the Montreal location.

As of late most of the visas have been sent out same day and received the next day no matter what your location in Canada. At the most they've taken a week.

Congrats to everyone!!!! :D
