Port of entry wait time?

So I've found a very convenient flight. The problem is there's only 2 hours 45 mins to connect to our next flight. We will be flying to Seattle and then San Diego. I really want to get this one, but I don't want to risk the port of entry taking 3 hours. Then we're in trouble because I wouldn't have any extra money to purchase a new flight. I looked at the port of entry reviews for Seattle but there are not many recent ones and none of them mention specifically how long it took them.

We would be traveling on a Wednesday and arriving in Seattle at 12 PM. I'm thinking it would probably not be as crowded on a Wednesday but I don't know.

What do you think?

You want to be safe so its better you get some more extra time on your side like maybe four ,five hours coz people are many regardless of days trust me.

No problem if you are coming in, in private jet, get first class service. But coming in on an airliner with 300 to 500 people on the same plane, will always be a line. If you can afford a first class ticket, least would be first in-line, but that can be cancelled out since they want you to collect your baggage for yet another inspection and customs, then the POE.

We were tied up in Toronto for six hours, never saw such a disorganized place, then I was dumb enough to pack up some of my wife's dolls in a box, had to walk another couple of blocks and wait in line again to have that inspected.

Thanks guys. Anyone have any experience with being prioritized because you're traveling with a toddler? I've heard of this before. I have a 2 year old, and he's going to probably be very fussy if we need to wait in a long line, especially after the long flight.
