I suppose this is a dumb question...but I'll ask it anyway...

My fiancée took 3 visa photos with her to St. Luke's for her medical exam. At the end of her 2 day session at St. Luke's...she did not leave with any visa photos. I thought they would give 2 photos back to her for the Embassy interview? My fiancée said she does not have the 2 photos that were intended for the Embassy interview.

So...my question: Where are the 2 photos for the Embassy? Are they in the sealed medical package she got from St. Luke's? Does St. Luke's deliver the 2 photos directly to the Embassy along with medical results?

I ask here because I read in the Embassy/Consulate reviews that they ask the applicant for the 2 visa photos. I just don't know if she will be asked for the 2 photos at the interview - because she does not have them (unless they are in the sealed medical package).

I'm sure there is a simple answer to this...just hoping the answer is NOT that St. Luke's forgot to give 2 photos back to her for the Embassy interview.

Her interview is tomorrow...so I'm a bit nervous about this.

i know that the other two photos she gave at st.lukes are with the medical records that will be forwarded to the embassy..

and another 2 photos that she will need for the embassy, i know will be attached on DS156... this is what i know... maybe get another 2x2 for the ds156.. usually when having a visa ID pic, it is 6 pcs.. but if ur fiancee dont have any spare, have her get another 2x2 for her ds 156 for tomorrow just to be safe. :)

I just questioned my fiancée on this...and we had a misunderstanding. They DID take 6 visa photos. She gave 3 to St. Luke's...and she has 3 more photos for the Embassy interview. I need to brush up on my Bisaya - LOL. It was a simple miscommunication, and all is well now. Thanks again.

SLEC will forward the other (2) photos to the embassy with the medical records, they state so on their website.

My confusion was that I thought the Embassy only gets 2 visa photos...but they actually get 4. (2 from St. Luke's...and 2 from the visa applicant/fiancée).

I just got word 2 hours ago that my fiancées visa is approved!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!

Just have to wait for 2GO to deliver to MOA...and then she'll get the CFO Sticker. (I am not sure what the fee is for the CFO sticker...because they don't seem to give the sticker fee on the CFO website (only the fee for Guidance and Counseling).

The CFO Guidance and Counseling Certificate of Attendance was P250 and the Guidance and Counseling Certificate (sticker) was P400 at the Cebu location.

Also a REMINDER: Make sure to bring 2 valid GOVERNMENT ID's. Whether it's a Driver's License, Unified ID, SSS, PhilHealth, NBI Clearance. As long as it's a government issued ID, you won't get turned away.

Good Luck

Congrats!! kicking.gifkicking.gif

The embassy only wants 2 and SLEC only needs 1, but SLEC always collects all 3 for whatever reason. I can't remember if USEM asked for more passport photos or not during the interview, I know my wife still had a handful when we got here.

Did you get a few extra NSO birth certificates for bringing to the States?

Very soon!!
