I am not currently working, and i just canceled at my old bank because they were charging me fees, do i need to submit a statement from my new bank saying i just switched and how much i have? When i switched over to my new bank i put more money in it that me and my wife got from our wedding, from friends do i need to state this money was from friends and family on like a yellow sticky note, not that i had a lot of money to begin with any ways. but my wifes co sponsor is covering the public charge thing.

Also if i do not work and have no stubs should i submit my old jobs work stubs from 1 year and a half ago, if i find any? my most recent employer i worked for like 4 months only and stoped working for them 3 months ago. She paid me in cash only so i have no stubs for this job, just a letter i got from her about 3 months ago saying i worked for her and how much i got. what to do? thanks

You have no need for bank statements or a letter from a bank. You need your I-864 and most recent tax transcript. You have no current income and are not trying to qualify with assets, so you do not need any other documentation. You could include your last 3 years of taxes just to show that you are only temporarily unemployed, but it is not a necessity. Your joint sponsor also needs to include their most recent tax transcript, letter from employer and/or most recent pay stub(s). They also need to include proof of being a USC or LPR.

If you did not file then you include a statement as to why you have not had to legally file taxes the last 3 years. If you needed to legally file but didn't in any of the last 3 years then you need to file your back taxes before proceeding,
