No Update on my Case

Hello Vjers, it's been close to 3 weeks since I got an update on my AOS which shows my RFE response is being reviewed. Since then there is no update on my work authorization, and im really frustrated right now. I only need the work authorization because i had lot of job offers already. I was thinking of calling the USCIS on Monday. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your response.

AOS JOURNEY

19-04-2013...................AOS package sent.

24-04-2013................... NOA1 received by text and email.

29-04-2013................... NOA1 received by post for AOS and EAD

03-05-2013...................Received biometric appointment notice.

13-05-2013...................Received RFE for AOS by text

20-05-2013................... Biometric done

09-06-2013.................... Sent RFE response

12-06-2013..................... Case updated to Response review

06-07-2013..................... EAD Approved

13-07-2013...................... EAD received in Mail

Did you apply for it (using an I-765) when you submitted your AoS? If not then it won't appear.

If you did then it will be issued within 90 days of you applying for it, which from your timeline would likely be sometime in the next month.

I applied with the aos in April.

Then it should appear before the end of July.

Sometimes, if you have a written job offer in hand, the local office will expedite the EAD for you. You could make an Infopass, take the written job offer plus your I-765 NOA and see if they will expedite it for you. Or you could just wait for it to show up in the next few weeks by itself.

Judging by the progress reports on VJ they are processing right around your time, I'm guessing you should get an approval notice for your EAD any day.
