I'm 5' 7" but just want to lose an inch or so.

Just hang around taller people and you'll be cured of that.

Hmm maybe...but I am the tallest female in my family(and Sujeet's family). I tower over my mom and sister. They are 5' 1" and 5' 2" It's nice since I can reach things for them, but pictures together look strange. "Stina, can you reach that in the cabinet for me please?"

I am just over 5'8"... so I know what you mean but I feel so short standing next to my brothers who are about 6'1" and 6'5" my other brother who is about 14 is taller then me already too....

My hubby is about the same height as me... but I used to want to be with a guy who was taller then me... so that when I wear heels I didn't tower over the guy but my hubby doesn't seem to mind

awwww..here I am wishing to grow more inches and You want to lose some..I think you got a perfect height there..

I'm thinking there's a mad scientist out there who can take the inch off Stina and put it on Luzy.

Ah, Marilyn, the solution is staring right at you - just have your husband wear the high heels.
