June 24th...The consul told my fiancee that her visa application was approved, but the site says "Your case is under administrative processing. Please see the letter you received at your interview for more information." But she didn't receive a letter. Also, they kept her passport. I hope everything is ok. Has anyone else had this happen? Thank you!

Thank you. I was wondering what could be wrong. I put together a notebook with each document in a plastic sleeve with a table of contents. It is meticulous. I live in the Washington, DC area, make plenty of money, and my house is paid off. I mean darn it! What do they want a bribe? Joking! It's just very frustrating.

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved after administrative processing, your passport will be delivered by our contracted courier to the address you specified when you booked your interview.

did yous case status say the same thing my fiance had his interview on the 20th of june the odd part about is taht they didnt ask for any evidence and we were not given any 221g form that they needed more documents from us its stressing me out :(

Hi Guys

Just to give you a heads up

13th March 2013 I had my interview for K1 Visa...CO said all approved and kept my passport said I would have it back within 7-10 working days. 15 days later after chasing it up I was advised of additional administrative processing. No documents were required of any sort but I was told to just wait.

Today 16th July 2013...125 days later I am still waiting and getting very frustrated. I hope you do not have this same experience

I think i might saw one of your fiancees during my interview,idea9dv.gif i was there too June 24 with my son. I have been on READY status for like 10 business days. One day on AP, then ISSUED the next day, when i saw that it was Issued , right away i got an email from USEM saying they have issued our visa. I just thought the setback was because they didn't have my son's medical result during our interview. Now we're on 3 days ISSUED and just got a text from unknown number this afternoon that saying " Document released for pickup/delivery". We'll call 2Go tomorrow to double check. Hopefully yours will be soon, they are working on it now... Good luck!!!!

The same thing happened to my fiancé. He was interviewed in Havana, Cuba on 07/10/2013, but we needed phone records so the consulate gave him a pass to come back with the evidence and that he could come back in a week. He later realized that he still had his passport so he had to return to the consulate and give it to them. After getting home, he got a call form the consulate stating that they needed another form completed, which he took today. Up until a year ago, he was part of the Union for Young Communists in Cuba and I'm really scared that might cause a problem with him getting the visa. They told him to return in two weeks!!!!!!! That's killing both of us! It is under Administrative Review.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I will let you know when this happens. We just don't know what they want.

Hi Gary and Susana, I e-mailed the embassy IV unit (IVManilaReplies) and they said that they have issued my visa last July 16. Yours should be coming soon anytime now. wink.png Have you had any update on your case?

My fiance had two interviews two days (715 & 7/16/2013) and both were long, I think it went well because the CO were even joking with my fiance. They took all the evidence, affidavit, pictures, passport, my income tax statement (i make more than enough to support him). But at the end of the interview they did not tell him if he was approved or denied - they told him to wait two weeks and they will give him a call. I check the status and it says "administrative processing". He did NOT get any letter 221 or 212 or any of those sort. They just told him that he may go home and they will call him in two weeks.
